Guest
Yeah, they could use it to the best of their capabilities, however, it's not actually going to be a large enough difference to make it a threat. Really? Take a piece of paper, scribble tiny letters on it, then place it 100 yrds away and try and read it. That isn't your best capabilitie, but it is stronger. Wisp
Smell, I can see being improved greatly, since we rarely use our sense of smell for anything other than either "extreme" smells, like a terrible smell, like a skunk, or something really good, like a meal you like, or subconscious smells, like perfumes that you barely notice, but your brain recognizes. I would think we would all smell pretty bad during the zombie apocalypse compared to how we smell now, since there wouldn't be regular showers or anything, probably. I can't see that making a difference, though, over a few hundred feet at most. Sight, probably the same as us, since we use sight predominantly. Hearing, this one depends on who the zombie was. Some people have good hearing, some don't. I would think this would be the most important of their senses other than sight. Touch is pretty much irrelevant. Unless we have something that vibrates the ground a lot, touch won't help them. Taste... not important. Hegemony-Spain

If you were to ask me to write tiny, you'd have difficulty reading it fairly close, rather than 100 yards away. Seraphi
About the whole senses argument. Maybe, humans can smell for miles, but those smells are so weak that our brain cannot possibly detect them or tell them apart from any other scent. A zombie, however, is totally focused on devouring flesh, and above all, human flesh. This may allow them to differentiate the scent of a human and say, some rotting garbage. We must also remember that if the wind is in the zombies favour then of course they could smell us from ages away, if it is our favour they will not smell us from a meter away. Yes, basically another thing we need to keep note of. A basic wind measuring device could probably be created from household materials, correct? How is using knowing that they can possibly smell us going to help? We need a way to mask our scent.

Guest
How about a scent of zombie cologne? Sure, You can be the one who manages to get close enough to get the scent of a zombie in liquid form. I was thinking something like mustard, that grows naturally, so we can easily obtain it.

Wisp
Zombies have no smell. In WWZ there's a blind japanese monk-type guy, who was able to survive without his sight, but he noticed zombies had no smell, since they repel bacteria, which is what causes rot. Well, I was thinking about this, and we won't really smell human, due to the fact we probably won't be showering, so it'll be masking our scent a bit. just thought about that. Plus we can roll around in the mud. that'd be fun, and mask our scent.

PlzPuddngPlz
I was thinking, we'd also need a list of skills/ jobs that people are good at. E.x. farming, repairing stuff, survival in the wilderness, etc. Sig by me, in MS paint, but I'm still working on it. Suggestions appreciated This guide is as concise as a gourmet's handbook with the guidelines of "Pick up fork, stab food, insert into your mouth, then chew". Wisp
Alright. I'm good at making plans. Usually. I have wilderness first aid certification and all that, I'm a good driver, I know basic medical stuff that goes along with the first aid thing. The most I could so though is stitches or a splint. I'm a pretty good shot judging by the couple of time's I've shot a real gun, (better in paintball/airsoft due to the lack of recoil). I'm probably weaker than most of you guys physically, since I weigh like 110 pounds or something in that area. I can fly a plane. Don't have a license, but I have the hours I would need to get one, I just haven't gotten around to it. Hegemony-Spain
Lenin64
I can dispose of zombie bodies. Hell, I'll manage all the waste. If this ever actually happens, and this plan actually goes through, I want to be in a position to do these kinds of things. Command the Murderous Chalices!
