so there I was happily slaying black demons, using prayer gear and whipping them to the floor. As I multi tasked by watching tv and flipping screens to tipit forums. Ahhh task done, activate khramja gloves, run to shilo master...iron dragons...sweet!...I love metals. In fact for a period of time back in the day, they were my money maker...I used to get 2-3 drops a week there....back when legs were 3mil+ and skirts 1.3mil+....so I consider myself a metal expert :-w

 

 

 

so I rub glory to edge, refill pots, grab some anti fires, 875 gp for entry, home tele runes because I keep my house on Khramja for this very purpose...and hastily tele to home...run down, pay the dude, get down to the big iron/steel room, as I enter I pot super attk, str and a anti fire.....run up to the first iron...*wack!*......so I turn my gaze over to the tv...and I hear "UGH"....thats not a good sign....I look over...hmm 1/3 of my health bar red....thats not good, I must of not clicked the anti fire pot like I thought I did..*clicks another dose of anti fire*...looks back at tv..

 

 

 

"UGH"....wth....look over in horror at a almost dead lord krohn....omg...and I didnt bring a one click tele, or tele runes or food because I feel totally confident in my ability to not need such here...after all I am a highly skilled metal slayer #-o

 

 

 

so I click the anti fire pot in sheer reflex and click run......"UGH" omg...runs....omg omg omg..I run past another metal slayer and cower in a corner as another long distance fire breath hits me *screams in real life WTF!* then as I look at my guy I figure out there is no handy dandy, oh so needed anti fire shield....then I also figured out that in the bottom of my inventory is a glory......*rubs glory fervently* oh please oh please.....edge..."Yesssssssssssss".....scan stats...2hp...oh ...my...god, im sucha nub.

Nice story :) Sorta reminds me of the countless times I've headed off to fire giants without my trusty rope! Those small required items can cause a lot of pain if forgotten ;)

THE STORY OF THE SECOND FIRE CAPE

 

 

 

Well as some of you may or may not know...I recently lost my fire cape on The afternoon of Monday, April 16, 2007.

 

 

 

This happened when i was going to the metal dragons for a slayer task of my 44 Iron dragons. Well as we all know noone likes doing semi dangerous and sorta long slayer tasks late at night so being the normal person i am (sometimes) i decided to bank for my iron dragon slayer gear and go to bed, and that i would kill those iron dragons for slayer the next day. So thats exactly what i did...

 

 

 

So the very next day i head down to iron dragons already fully prepared to slay them by the time i get into the lair and realise im missing one thing...(as im hit from a distance with a 19...With my anti fire potion having been drank...)

 

 

 

So being the fact that i was at iron dragons and no food is required...i didnt have any food to eat as i tried to run away in a panic...while trying to tele away using a glory...(took it cuz i had no bank space for a 1 charge glory in the bank...)

 

 

 

So alas that was the fate of that first fire cape i had :lol: :XD:

hehe ya that was a good one, I had fished 7k sharks to buy a whip, cause they were 7 mil at the time...and had it about a hot week when i switched from whip to fire staff to alch a rune item and as I ran to pick it up, it disappeared, so Iswitched back to inventory screen and clicked whip to re-equip in place of the fire staff...*poof*......*blinks*.....omg....lol

I was cowering in the top north west corner of the area....waiting for hp to raise enough for a run out, when I realized I had a glory, so I rubbed and left...if I had gotten hit again, I would have been a pile lol
