Runescape isnt the same anymore, the changes that they made have really disappointed me. Being someone addicted to gaming, i have played quite alot of free online games b4 and Runescape was my first online RPG. I could still vividly remember the days when i started off fighting in the chicken and cow farm, and how my fren gave me free stuff and armour to start my runescape, but i doubt this will ever be possible again.

 

 

 

Among all the games i played, Runescape you can say has the worst graphics of all, but no matter how many times i quit i will always come back just to remember old times. The times when we exchanged gifts on christmas and recieving presents for birthdays or the times u spent exploring the wildy looking for targets and making temporary clans, all these which would be impossible to achieve anymore..

 

 

 

Some of my frens often ask me,"why u still play runescape?The graphic stinks", although i do share the same thought i would always stand up to defend the game, coming up with some of runescape strong points. AND out of all this strong points that i cherish the most is its community and the ever exciting wildy.

 

 

 

However due to runescape's update there can only be a trade of 3k max and i wont be able to help noobs anymore or even return the armour of some stranger who died under the claws of the lesser. The economics of the community have also been affected. The power that players once held to affect the demand and supply of goods have now been reduced to ashes. It seems that jagex wishes to take over the economy by force.

 

 

 

The wildy might be the one and only reason y i am attracted back to runescape whenever i quit. This is because it is a unique and exciting feature that can only be found on this game. Whenever my frens illustate to me their interesting encounters at the greaters or ice giants, there will always be strong this urge in my heart to play back the game. I remembered there was once when i was still a noob in full addy, running out of the wildy with 2 mages hot on my tails, shooting bolts 11,5,7 my heart was pounding like crazy....i will nvr forget that feeling. However i guess i will nvr be able to feel it again. Now a lvl 96 and experienced 2 months of membership, i still feel tat wildy is the best feature in RS.

 

 

 

I understand the pain of seeing the increasing number of botters and macroers. Their prescence have too affected my training in my skills but is this the only way to stop it? I suppose if there is enough manpower botters and macroers can be found manually. RWT trading cannot be removed so easily. If 3k is the max i suppose they can jus send 3k by 3k tru botting... these ppl will find their ways but what will happen to all those that once loved runescape, runescape will never be the same for them anymore...it will never be...

Yes, RS is starting to act a bit like Big Brother. Cutting down where we are going to make sure you stick within the rules while they watch from above :P.

yeah the wildy has always been pretty unique to rs, its been the thing thats made the game stand out be different not just another copy

A portion of the population is unaffected like you maybe, but to others, this ruined the game. For all the huge clans like DI who can no longer really pk, are they overreacting? They have no reason to play anymore, since the majority only still play for their clan.

Same dude! I mean the wildy thing I don't think Ill be affected since I never go there at all.....but the Drop and Trade changes......wow. :boohoo: :boohoo:

Imagine... no more castle pking.... no more danger involved in the wildy since u can just pick up ur stuff when stupid MONSTERS try to kill u... no more varrock pking... no more random gifts to random noobs... no more drop parties... no more having fun with your family...

If you cannot find another reason to keep playing this vast game besides PKing, then by all means you should be quitting. Just do the community a favor: don't let the door hit you on the way out.

Pardon me for only enjoying what was the only adrenaline inducing activity left... the only area still slightly out of big brother's protection and still anti-newb. i've played for 6 years and this was the only thing that kept me coming back (besides the holiday updates which are always fun-haven't missed one in 5 or so years)

 

 

 

This "vast" game just became less vast....
