December 28, 200718 yr It's not really cost effective in my opinion.... but it looks great. If you want something more powerful, go for barrow armour.... ... but if it's just for looks, go for it.

December 28, 200718 yr If you like how it looks and are going to use it in the long-term it's a lot more cost-efficient than barrows. However if your just going to leave it in your bank as a trophy and not wear it for fear of dieing then I would say give it a miss. December 28, 200718 yr I had one. I sold it though. Its pretty good, but there are much better pieces of armor and it looks terrible with rune legs. 61,358th to 99 range on May 23rd, 2010.100,927th to 99 def on February 13th, 2011.
December 28, 200718 yr I would say its a waste of your money. It serves zero purpose especially with your stats. Obviously you won't be using it for trainin. I mean woodcutting in a d chain does nothing for you. The only thing you accomplish is trying to show off that you have money but with the current price of things d chains are at the bottom of the "show-off" barrel. Since they went under 20m they haven't really been a sign of wealth. Just keep your money and don't spend it on a chain now. When you get enough money for a chain that it won't leave you broke afterward... that's when you buy it. So when you get 15m or even 20m then buy a chain. Until then keep dreamin. Apparently, my signature was to big.

December 28, 200718 yr Author I didnt buy for 2 reasons, I wouldn't have enough left over to get d legs, and it would look dumb with rune legs. No point in woodcutting in a dragon chain, its better dertemention to woodcut to make enough money to buy a d chain and have plenty left over.
December 28, 200718 yr As a huge barrows armour user (I've been told "DON'T USE DHAROK'S TO KILL CHICKENS!!) I can tell you from personal experience that the repair costs are very very worth it and tiny in comparison to a dchain. Dchain = 69 barrows repairs (over 1k hours of combat) at 50 smthing on an armour stand not counting weapon. This thread is about armour right? If you opt for a dleg, barrows chest, and zerker helm (I only use barrows helm if I need the effect, berserker is better imo) then you can buy 177 repairs (2.6k hours of combat) at 50 smithing. Don't get a Dchian....

December 28, 200718 yr I dreamed for full dragon since I started. As a level 3, I admired every member I seen with full dragon. Well, two years later I finally got my wish. I bought my full dragon. It was only like 20m. Unfortunately, a month later the price crashed. I'd say if you really want it then buy it. But, if your defence isn't 60. Then I wouldn't bother. It affects your energy, so I don't see why it shouldn't be counted.
