sup3rpur Posted September 29, 2008 Share Posted September 29, 2008 Hey guys, ive been trying to do boss battles on intense to get closer to getting all the hidden achievement things...but i cant get it. Ive watched video after video on it...but the final boss on intense was hard enough in the story mode where i had 6 lives to kill him. Now im supposed to beat him with 1...any tips on who to try it with and what moves to use..because frankly im stuck. At most, it'll make it ... ~80, instead of 60 with a good connection. (easily obtainable, I have this all the time with mac, crazy, caxis, ect) Remember that when there's button lag, theres lag as well. This gives you exactly as much time lost to think. I blame it on my...on my...room...ya thats it. The room im in isnt big enough, causing the air to be unfiltered and my controller to get low quality air...because of this its connection with the wii is damaged...causing me to lose! I think you should post that theory on Smash Boards. Seems like a perfectly logical reason. ;) :thumbup: ------ Yes lag does get annoying, but after a while of playing it you just get used to the difference, it just takes a few games. At least, with me anyway. PS. I really need to play some of you guys, seems like I haven't played anyone besides Caxis in like a year. :x Just been so stinkin busy. :boohoo: omg...thats sooo funny! very imaginative!!! For the matter, none of the bosses are as beefed up on HP as they are in story mode. This is mostly because of his extremely low learning curve, fast damage, multiple jumps, short air dodge, and he is extremely quick both in the air and ground. You're kidding right? I lagged once against Shortman4229 and it literally froze for a MINUTE. As in, I got up, grabbed a coke with some ice and came back, and it was still frozen. Then when it unfroze our characters move super fast for like 3 seconds... When you hit a severe lag [bleep]e, it can be, and usually is, much much worse than that. We did double Charizards, I think I might have said that. Anyway, I use Charizard for boss battles...The only part I have trouble with is Tabuu, mainly RRoD. I agree with the above statement UNLESS your connection is different at all times XD Sometimes mine runs perfectly other times it feels like dialup on pain meds. That's why I can face Caxis with near no lag at all, and Crazy with enough lag for him to go literally crazy in frustration [1]despite being on the same connection. You're kidding right? Read my post. This lag occurs only rarely against most opponents, and usually in the first round. After that it's clear. EXCEPT for that one match against Ginger Warrior. Most of the lag is caused by my sister though, she constantly streams music and video when she's on her computer. I've actually found our lag to be getting better as time goes on. There are matches where is comes back (ROB vs Marth), but most of the time it's playable. I lag with just about everyone, though not as badly with Caxis as others.
