One of the reason people find Lucario a weird character to fight is because he is both heavy and light. In the Air Lucario falls at the speed of a semi light character and leaps fairly far but in the ground he slow.

 

That's not wierd at all... although his power up with damage really is.

 

 

EDIT: His tournament results is bad and his metagame hasn't picked up much at all.

Snake has a too good approaching game and he can duck under all the lasers. Everything but arrows he can duck under, and arrows are slow enough to powershield.

 

Ok, but what can he do from there? Dtilt? Falco can SH laser and approach/back jump to confuse the Snake. My brother plays a mean Falco... He can also just run up to you and shield-chaingrab...

 

 

 

 

Actually, I didnt find Snake hard to pick up. I have always had a knack for picking things up quickly, like times and angles

 

Ok, but I bet you the lack of experience makes a huge difference... I mean you only play coms and online, right? You can't get better with that at all. Use proficiently doesn't mean know how all the AT's work, it's the application.

This is in fact the best way to know if your opponent marth knows anything about him. Marth never uses his Fsmash, and you said it's one of the 2 biggest factors of his game. :lol: It's like using a Falcon punch.

 

 

When I said 'not every pro would know how to do the IC's infinity' I meant not every PRO not every IC's Pro.

 

Er... I don't think a Pro who never used Snake even knows how to do a motarslide... If you don't use a character, obviously you won't know how to do his AT's...

 

 

And btw infinite grab releases shouldnt be considered infinities. They dont do anything but stall, no damage except for the quickly worn-out pummels.

 

Worn out pummels that do damage. And infinites aren't considered stalling unless used passed 300%.

My friend mains Marth. Has mained Marth since 2001. I'm kinda gonna have to say this goes for both Melee and Brawl Marths.. F smash is strong without being connected, and too strong with being connected. It's not hard to punish with it.

It's a decent punishing tool, but that's not what you said. You said

his game is just outspacing and connecting F smashes.

which is completely incorrect. His Fsmash is a very unused tool for most of the match. Do you have any idea how much ending lag it has? In fact, Marth's biggest weakness is his lack of KO attacks. Usmash, Fsmash, and his Dsmash all leave him open to anything, including killers.

Mario, Jigglypuff, Ness, Ike, Yoshi, Lucario, Wolf, Fox, Zelda, Luigi, ZSS, Sonic, Peach, Kirby, Lucario, DK, Toon link, PT, Pit, Rob, GaW, Olimar, Pikachu, IC, Falco, Marth, Wario, Diddy, DDD, Snake, and MK all won rather large tournaments, aka some pros in there.
