As for Diddy kong, (except for Kent who pwns my diddy on a regular basis whenever I play)

 

 

 

Everyone Punks about me bananaspamming. Oh thats not fair. Lies. It is fair. A good diddy kong user will control the battlefield with his bananas. It's not like they're unstoppable. You can grab them as well. And it's only 2 ffs.

Yeah my computer is two floors above my T.V. with my wii on it, and in the middle of the night I wasn't going to go all the way upstairs and maybe wake someone up, so I just checked to see if anyone was on. I was so happy there was a battle going of too :cry:

Thunder "spamming" isn't spamming... it's not as if your doing it every time, your doing it when the opponent is directly verticle to you. Secondly, I don't mind spamming. With spamming, you can only have a limited amount of skill, never being able to become "good." I'll read your article later.

@Kent, including spamming in your play style, like spamming certain grenades isn't going to hinder your ability to play. Just because you always spam doesn't mean you won't become good, you'll become pretty good with spamming and learn counters to people trying to counter your spamming.

 

 

 

IE; They try and do a work around to stop your spamming, you know this, and thus counter their counter. Thus you've become a better player.

It really made me see how idiotic it was to have player-made rules in a game, or chose moves that shouldn't be done even though they help you.

 

 

 

Honestly, if using a broken character makes you win, good job, I'm not complaining. If spamming an invincible move in a game makes you win, good job. If abusing 'lag' or graphical glitches/animation effects, good job. However sooner or later someone will find a way around them, sooner or later you'll need to move on to something else to make yourself win.

 

 

 

And obviously Kent is a good example. He's got like 3+ characters he could beat anyone here with, and not including Snake or Meta Knight.

Skull bash is an extremely sucky move anyways... The ONE and ONLY extremely spammable yet high potential attack in my opinion is Metaknight's Mach tornado.

Well if you're spamming, and they try to counter your spamming, but you know how to counter their counter, then yes it is spamming, just spamming properly in my mind.

Spamming is only spamming if you do it mindlessly, for example, just throw Snake's grenades without any angle change, just using Thunder Jolt without any change in momentum, etc.

 

 

 

Spamming isn't when you actually use it to forward your plan, as Kent's Snake does to play defensively, and when the opponent is sick of the grenades, approaches closer. I spam Pikachu's Thunder Jolt, which I've named the Non-Directional Laser (I tend to taunt out my attacks before using them :oops: ) but its not like I just sit there pressing B all day, I incorporate the Jolts into my Pikachu mindgames and combos.

Why complain about "spamming" if it is easily deflected? Either outcamp Snake (hard, but doable) or approach him (easy) or throw the grenades back (easy). Secondly, I wouldn't consider doing a move in succession spamming anyways. As it is the opponents fault for not taking the actions required to counter the spam. If they don't know how, they are noobs and don't deserve to complain. (... :lol:) I would, however, consider fox doing his laser, then running around hyrule...

It's funny. People say spamming. For the most part it isnt a move done in sucession, but rather just doing a move...a lot. Thats what I mostly hear directed towards me. The plan is to take your opponents life away. one way or another. there is no unbeatable invincible flawless move. everything has its flaws some, less than others. Even with my hatred towards Kirbyciding and Bowserciding it is a legit move and I should be a big enough player to stop punking and play around it. Im just not...at least with diddy kong ;)

heh. I'm not worried about Ness or Lucas's healer because when I see them I know I can't spam it. It might be even better for me cuz thunder, and the thundershock become less used, making it a bit more unpredictable and I start focusing on hitting you physically. I still caught you with thunder once or twice ;)

Well I had an expert Kirbycider before. He couldn't do it without suiciding. It was still hard for him to get with all the thunders and T-Shocks.
