You're officially declared a United States citizen and in turn, an adult.

 

Um...you're a citizen as soon as you're born, as long as you were born in the States themselves. Maybe if you're an immigrant 18 lets you become a citizen....

You don't have full rights as one though. You're still under the control of a parent or guardian, unless you're emancipated from them.

I want to get a tattoo. Something that has to do with royalty.

When I turn 18 I will have a girl's day with my friends like I do every birthday and then go clubbing that night.

 

 

 

Turning 18 is quite big, but turning 21 is even bigger. I just hope I turn 18 and have some fun before the government changes the law on drinking.

I haven't done anything really. I just feel similar still. First thing I'll prolly do is watch an R-rated movie. That and buy adult mag.

Lol @ people that aren't from Wisconsin. Here you can legally drink as much as you want as long as your parent or legal guardian is with you, even at a bar. That's why we've been out-drinking your state since 1848.

My last year of high school had just started, and my dad had just gotten out of the hospital after emergency triple bypass heart surgery. So I'm sure the first thing I did was somewhat infused with those events... But I don't remember, it's been a long while.

 

 

 

18 isn't really a big deal in the good ol' USA unless you're a big fan of tobacco. I voted, yeah, and I signed up for the draft as was my legal obligation. I even got carded at 7/11 because some friends I was with bought some cigars and she wouldn't sell unless we were all 18, so, passed that test.

 

 

 

But it was great being able to step into a pub in England and grab a couple of pints legally, and that's why 21 is a good age to look forward to in America. After that it's 25 to rent a car and get a huge insurance break, then it's 55 for senior rates, and beyond that... We'll cross that bridge when we come to it.

on my 18th birthday it was a strip club, pack of smokes, lotto ticket, and a bit of Patron(had my brother hook that one up) \

I don't reckon I'll do anything special when I turn 18 next year. I'm not interested in drinking (although I can't when I turn 18 anyway), I'm not interested in smoking, etc. etc.
