Well... I had one of those total fluke victories yesterday.

 

 

 

Entered a sabotage game that was already in progress on Dome. Bomb was by our side (the side with the balcony), so I run over and grab it. I run along side the large drop off (totally unnoticed, evidently), run inside to the other target (again, unnoticed), get the bomb planted, and only then do I die. Won the game in 45 seconds (and got 3 kills from people crowding the thing; idiots :lol: ). Then I get some kid who sounds like he's 10 asking me to add him (PS3) and that he loves me. *shudders*

 

 

 

And I agree that Courtyard is a horrible map. Too many blind corners; I usually get killed like once every 10 seconds.

Don't suppose anybody could help me with a problem. I brought the game a while ago and completed now I'm wanting to play it again on the PC. Unforunately the disc is gone so i've been trying a No-Cd crack and every single time I try and open the Crack I get microsoft error. I've googled it and google doesn't have the answer :(.

Heres hoping the new Zombie map will be glitch free. Though frankly I doubt it as Treyarch CBA to even fix the old maps. Hurry up MW2, at least IW actually playtest maps before releasing them. PLEASE Zombies in MW2 as well, I know that IW would do it a hell of a lot better.

Thats [cabbage], there are still loads of glitches in call of duty 4 that havent been fixed, like getting to certain places(Thinking of the level with the road down the middle with the burned out tanks and stuff).

 

 

 

The Ambush "glitch" gives no advantage as they can be seen and shot at quite easily, plus they often get shot trying to do it.

 

 

 

I haven't played four enough to find any glitches, but how does it honestly compare to WaW glitch-wise?

 

 

 

There are no glitches, or at least none that give an advantage.

I reached level 65 today! I tried out the flamethrower for a few matches, and the M1A1 Carbine. They are both pretty tight, but I decided to start prestiging, so I'm back at level 3 now. I hate how some much is locked when you first start out. :cry: But the first levels will go by extremely fast. I'll have my stealth set back soon. :D

court yard is anoying this a bad team, but artilery and dogs there.... 40+ kills pls

I have 4500 kills so far, and just reached 3000 deaths, so about a 1.5 kdr right now. Before I prestiged I was becoming a fan of the Type 100, I'm looking forward to unlocking it so I can start owning again.

 

 

 

 

 

Also, I hate how underpowered snipers are in this game. There are so few effective sniper spots that it makes it almost impossible to snipe. Plus the fact that the radar shows exactly where you are when you shoot makes hiding in one place inneffective. The whole point of a sniper is to sit in one area and silently kill anyone who you can spot. If you show up as a red dot every time you fire, the SMG'ers will find you quickly. Also, the fact that scopes are not default on all but the springfield and the russian gas powered one makes the other bolt actions pretty useless. Also, most of the time the bolt-actions are not one hit kills, so if you don't kill someone on the first shot, your screwed if they know where you are. I've basically given up on all bolt-action rifles now, as it only frustrates me when I try and play with them.

There are only 2 Wii maps you can snipe on well, and only 5 you should ever consider sniping on. Makin and Upheaval are good for sniping if you know where to go, and Cliffside and Hangar are useful with overkill. Dome, Courtyard, and Castle are completely useless for sniping, and Asylum is very rarely good for it. I've seen a few people do well with it.

 

 

 

My advice is to find your own spots, don't use places like the rock at cliffside that leave you open. Use the edges of the map, and you can find some pretty good spots. Also, 25 kills isn't that hard. I use the Mosin-Nagant a lot, as the high power almost garuntees a 1 shot kill. Just find a great spot, and don't waste all your ammo.

 

 

 

PS> I can show you some great spots in a private match if you are quiet about them. I know one that very few people know.

I'm always trying to find sniping places that other people havn't thought of, but I have only managed a couple, and I'm found before too long. I hate that the camera shows where the person was who shot you (well atleast the direction). Also, I never have time to just look for sniping spots ingame. Plus I never think about just starting a match by myself and looking for them.

Just be thankful there's no kill cam then, or else you'd really be screwed.

for snipeing you should onyl kill 1-3 people before you move, because once you kill someone they will try and come find you, although it would be alright if your with the rest of your team and they are using smgs/mgs at entrances or w/e

Stay scoped in when you kill someone, it makes you harder to locate. Yes WaW is pretty awful for sniping.

You can snipe on basically every map if you're a decent enough sniper, there are much worse games for sniping in, BF:BC for example, where a head shot wasn't a 1 hit kill.

Go to the northeast bunker in the game and go to the southern entry. There's some barrels there. Jump onto the little bagged plant, then onto the barrel, run and jump to the one across, then onto the red bar thing, then onto the ledge of the bunker :thumbup:

Wow, had a pretty good game yesterday. Nothing to do with my kills/deaths, but the end was just adrenaline-filled.

 

 

 

It was team deathmatch, I heard the guy shout something as in 'It's not too late to win' and I look down to the clock, it says 30 seconds. I get a 3 kill streak quickly, then recon plane, then a 5 kill streak by 20 seconds left. I then died and used my artillery, and got 3 kills from it. Here comes the sweet part: we were down by like 6 points, and the last second, just before it ended, the artillery got me one more kill and it won us the match. And I got Team Player from it lol.

 

 

 

All in all had a good day yesterday, tried unlocking the scope for K98k, but it kinda sucks, so I guess I'll wait for overkill + PTRS41

I have to agree on MP40 /w silencer. I used to go Type 100...

Right now I'm torn between the decision: MP40 with silencer, aperture or more ammo. All have their own advantages. Silencer ofcourse doesn't appear on the map, but I don't like the normal iron sights, so aperture changes that problem, and more ammo would make rough economy easy as hell. Damn, I wish I could combine 'em.

Hmm, good points.

 

 

 

Oh well, I don't use the MP40 that much anyway, recently unlocked FG42 with telescopic sight + sleight of hand, it's great on medium to large maps. The only bad thing is that it used almost a full clip for one kill. But it's a quick kill, so you don't hear me complaining.
