The whole of WaW is godawful compared to cod4.

I agree Valeyard, but while it sucks in comparison to MW, it's definitely an alright game. Probably the best WWII FPS ever made. (I'm so going to get flamed for not saying MoH: Frontline)

I didn't even 'try' to get that. Me and my friend play like idiots and enjoy pissing people off, we have RPGs on every class even more on CoD4. I use my RPG first before my primary weapon, it's just instinct now.

Doesnt really seem like it is considered normal.. Everything on Hardcore is overpowered.. except bolt action rifles unscoped, so hard to use...

 

Anyone know if Trench 1hk's if you shoot in the leg on Hardcore? Furthermore, what about the foot or arm?

 

Nothing is overpowered because all the weapons kill so fast. That's the idea, and it makes for what I think is better gameplay overall. And yes, any shot from a trench gun on hardcore is almost always a 1-hit. Sometimes, though, you might get unlucky and not get the kill if you're especially far away and/or your spread sucks.

 

 

 

You guys should all realize that while WaW is a fun game, CoD4 is vastly superior to it in many ways. WaW is a good game overall, and there were changes to it that are notable from CoD4, but CoD4 is the real innovator of the Call of Duty shooter, and WaW is essentially a copy with some changes and a different atmosphere.

Well CoD6 will be better than both.

Unless they change it too much it should be. It's ironic that Treyarch completely screwed up WaW's multiplayer when all they did was copy cod4.

Yeah but SMG's and MG's still kill quicker than most rifles since they're WAY easily sprayed, and rifles sometimes depend on moving speed and shooting infront of the opponent, which at times can be hard if you arent vsing a complete noob.

Are you honestly saying that IW is stupid for not putting it on the Wii, something it could never be good on? Did you even see the opening level shown at E3? That would NEVER work well on the Wii, and not just graphically.

It wouldnt even take 2 weeks to port it to the Wii and the PS2. Just make the graphics PS2 standard and cut down some maps in multiplayer for the Wii.

It is the 5th Call of Duty game on PC, but not the 5th Call of Duty game, CoD:Roads to Victory (on PSP) is.

 

But I am still sick of poeple calling it CoD5, it says on the game case Call of Duty World At War, no 5 on there.
