Anyone notice how a lot of people who are on Social Welfare are Obese and don't seem to do anything about it? We should do what Germany does and force them to go to the Gym 3 times a week for a 2 hour period each day so they can keep their benefit, if they don't go they don't receive that weeks benefit.

Mine is literal. You'll see why in a few years. And as for the shrimp on the barbie; the only shrimp I throw on the barbie are midgets. But I'm not Australian. Command the Murderous Chalices! That's a great idea. Although a lot of people on welfare in the U.S. are just plain lazy. catch it now so you can like it before it went so mainstream

Army is to softcore, send them to some slave work camp thing and work them to an inch near death, then let them live knowing that if they ever become lazy that's what they face :o
June 21, 200818 yr ^ Were the HELL do you live?!!? He's Irish. I thought their military was tough as well... Of course, the Army's training in any country is nothing to the Marines'. catch it now so you can like it before it went so mainstream
June 21, 200818 yr First of all I was being sarcastic, and what have the Irish done that has made the world dislike them? Can't think of anything tbh, no need for derogatory names as well :roll: Welcome to being an American. Oh, you guys have a lot of red hair. Horrible, horrible people. The red hair is a stereotype which isn't even true nowadays in Ireland, And it's quite obvious why a lot of the world nowadays dislikes America, it's a 4 letter word, can you guess what it is? :-w errrm, just to add to it;

Popoto.~<3
June 21, 200818 yr It's not a very proud title for our country. :( Just goes to show sports like Tennis and Cricket aren't enough of a physical activity to lose weight. Don't forget rugby or AFL. The problem isn't the sports themselves, it's that kids aren't playing them enough. Having said that, I think a lot of the problem lies with adults, too. I haven't seen many obese people around full stop, but it's sure not just kids with the problem.

June 21, 200818 yr Australia is a [bleep]ing lazy country! People don't do anything here, its constant public holidays I can go to a nightclub any night of the week and find it packed because people only have to work 2-3 days a week and the few of us who do work pay them for it with welfare. Most Australian's especially uni students deserve a good [wagon] kicking. instead of being aloud to lay about and leech of the rest of us. I believe we are fat because half of us do nothing. ~Dan64AuSince 27 Aug 2002

Where have you gotten your data from? I work 10 - 6 Monday to friday. I leave my door at 8am, i walk to the train station which is 20 minutes away, i catch a train to the city. Then i get home via bus at 7.30pm at night. You are generalizing people over a few bad apples. Quite frankly i am disgusted at the way you wrote that post. Last i checked dancing was an effective way to lose weight so that throws your night club experience out the window. I think it honestly all comes down to the absurd "ideal" image people have. Sure there are some people who are fat (me being one of them sadly -.- ) but alot of them aren't overweight. I really hate how they say we are the fattest people in the world. :cry: I'd like to see you all play an intensive sport in 35*+ temperature -.- Proud Tip.It Moderator December 07 - October 2009Proud TETAU Member 2006 - 2007 <3"I had a standing agreement with god. June 21, 200818 yr Dan - Where is all this spare time you're talking about? I wasn't one of those students who decided to go surfing or clubbing. I was stuck at home studying up to 8 hours a day. Sure there are students with lots of time but serious students don't even know what spare time is. I also have my own business and am self employed - Sure that gives me lots of spare time but that doesn't mean I'm lazy. It means I'm clever enough not to work 9-5 like 95% of the population. Eat healthier and walk to the train station - Christ, being a student and only working a few days a week has nothing to bloody do with it. The only people who tell you that you can't do something are those who have already given up on their own dreams so feel the need to discourage yours.
