Black demons are some of the best pure melee xp in the game, and rune drops basically pay for p pots. Crimsons make this a task I'd never consider skipping.

 

 

 

Baby black dragons are fine, they drop a few charms and the fact that's it is no reason to skip them.

 

 

 

I agree that hellhounds should be blocked, because of crowds.

 

 

 

Scarabites under sophanem are some of the fastest slayer xp in the game with a cannon. You will need a unicorn stallion or beast of burden with food, as well as protection from ranged and piety though.

 

 

 

Skeletal wyverns are faster than iron dragons with piety, and granite legs are about halfway between dragon platelegs and dragon plateskirt. They drop visages more often than irons/steels. I bring a fruit bat for healing, 2 super sets, and a ton of prayer potions. Wear barrows. I can do them in 1 trip. Worst case scenario is you have to do 2, they're still faster than irons.

 

 

 

Steels are the worst task in the game lol.

 

 

 

Terrorbirds are cannonable, but you have to be fast with your crystal chimes. They are 30k slayer xp/hour, so I don't see why anyone in their right mind wouldn't do them.

 

 

 

People camp waterfiends for the charms, so anyone remotely interested in summoning (as all slayers should be) would do well to do these tasks.

 

 

 

I believe your information on the ring of wealth is wrong; what jagex has said is that if you get a rare drop, that rare drop will be a rarer rare drop with ring of wealth. Dragon is rarer than rune in most cases. :P

 

 

 

You should include unicorn stallion in the list of useful familiars.

 

 

 

I don't feel like reading every task description lol. One thing I'd like to point out is that it is very cheap and very effective to use a prayer like superhuman strength on every task (I do). My default slayer outfit is a proselyte platebody and a veracs skirt. For most tasks I use 4 p pots max, unless it's a long/protection prayer required task.

The Path of Glouphrie

 

Whatever you do, don't complete this quest. If you do the quest then it will unlock Warped Tortoise and Warped Terror Bird which are 2 of the worst tasks you can get.

 

 

 

20k slay xp an hour with 200k profit a hour.

 

 

 

Dealing With Scabaras

 

Another quest you won't want to do. If you do the quest then you'll unlock Scarabite which are a bad one as well.

 

 

 

30k slay xp a hour. Great cannon xp.

 

 

 

 

Fairy Tale Part 2

 

Make sure that you only start this task. The Fairy Rings come in handy to get around, but if you finish the quest then you'll unlock Goraks. Although you don't really need to block them, they're not the best experience out there. Use your Ignore List for Fairy Ring Locations.

 

Good range xp, and fast if you choose to melee, nothing a bunyip+a load of lobsters can't heal.

 

 

 

Mournings End Part 2

 

It's up to you whether or not to complete this quest. Even if you just start it, then you unlock access to Dark Beasts. They are very good experience, stay aggressive forever and drop the Dark Bow, but take a pretty long time to kill.

 

 

 

I get 30 second kills there, and they are very good xp if you can use a black mask.

 

The assignments that you'll be using the Cannon for are: Aberrant Spectres, Black Demons, Bloodvelds, Dagannoths, Dark Beasts, Kalphites and Suqahs.

 

Add Scarabites, warped terrorbirds and goraks(not sure if you can use a cannon there).

No information because I am not able to get them and only know from the majority of players that they are bad. Information would be appreciated.

 

 

 

Scarabites are one of the best tasks you can get.

 

 

 

Skeletal Wyverns

 

An all around horrible task, if you have any space left then you'll want to block these. They are a poor money maker and are insufficient to kill. They can drop the Granite Legs and have a chance for a Draconic Visage if you want to keep them as your task.

 

 

 

They also drop heaps of crimson charms and I can get 20 second kills there.

 

 

 

Steel Dragons

 

Not very good experience, but have very good drops if you're looking to make money. Due to the area that these are in you should block this task, it's slow enough already but with only 4 spawns you'll be lucky to kill any of them.

 

 

 

I have no problem getting kills, just use the dfs special or take curse/wind strike runes to attack them.

 

 

 

Warped Terrorbirds

 

No information because I am not able to get them and only know from the majority of players that they are bad. Information would be appreciated.

 

 

 

What I said, 20k slay xp and 200k cash an hour. Just read erichermit's guide. Don't judge a book by its cover.

 

 

 

This is the quickest way to do Aberrant Spectres as a task. The good thing is that because they drop Herbs so frequently, you'll make back most of what you spent on Cannonballs! If you don't have a Slayer Helmet then you'll want to use a Nose Peg and Salve Amulet(e).

 

 

 

Might want to mention that if they choose to use a nosepeg they'll stay at 1 hp for the whole task, might recommend them to take a lobster or something to heal once they're done(Most people don't like walking around with 1 hp left). And bringing 2 terrorbirds(one incase one dies) to summon at the end of the task to hold more herbs will also make the task more profitable.

 

Take less prayer potions, I only use 3 at most.

 

 

Use karils and a rune defender.

 

And a ring of wealth decreases the amount of herb drops and increases the coin drops. Don't want that would you. Might also consider using infinity boots.

 

Finally, take a super defence pot, it does reduce how often they hit.

 

 

 

The slayer tower isn't the only place to kill abyssal demons either.

 

 

 

No inventory and guide for cannon bloodvelds?

 

 

 

 

You'll just end up dropping half of those pizzas to pick up drops. Take less.

 

 

 

Waterfall Dungeon Method

 

This is the easiest location to kill them at. In another nearby room are Skeletons that can be killed to use their bones for the Bones to Peaches spell. However, this area of Fire Giants is often very crowded. You'll need Glarials Amulet and a Rope to get into this dungeon.

 

No cannon at fire giants? It works quite good there.

 

 

 

Brimhaven Dungeon Method

 

 

 

 

Take a bronze axe so you can drop, and take one more super set. With a bunyip you don't need food either, and you'll have to drop pizza's if you want to pick up charms.

 

 

 

Goraks

 

God Wars Dungeon/Fairy Ring Method

 

Suggested Familiar: ???

 

Try a bunyip :P

 

 

 

Hellhounds

 

 

 

Taverly Dungeon Method

 

Taverly is pretty much the best place to kill Hellhounds. It's often pretty packed here from Clue Hunters though. You may also want to bring an Antipoison because sometimes a Poison Spider may attack you.

 

 

Sell the fury and buy glory+warrior ring, better stats.

 

Again, take less pizza's so you can pick up charms.

 

 

 

Duradel doesn't assign infernal mages #-o

 

 

 

Kalphite Lair Method

 

This task goes by pretty fast with a Cannon and they're not very strong either. You usually don't even use up all of your food.

 

Then why bring so much food?

 

 

 

Ancient Cavern Method

 

Duradel only assigns 3-5 of these which makes it a very quick task. If you can't use Vengeance than you'll have to make 2 trips rather than one. The Prayers that you'll be using to fight them are Protect From Mage and Piety. Make sure to use Vengeance whenever you can and drink more of your potions when your stats are down to 115. I suggest that after you kill one, you wait for it to spawn in that location again so your Vengeance has time to be able to be casted again.

 

 

 

Use protect from melee, bring pineapple pizza's instead of sharks(just stand under them when you want to eat), bring more prayer pots if you use piety(3 won't be enough)

 

 

 

Suggested Familiar: Any elemental Titan, for raising Defence and Hitpoints.

 

No bunyip?

 

 

 

Chinning nechryaels is actually a great way to kill them. Be sure to bring a ring of wealth as you get a LOT of crimsons charms if you do(but again, you already bring one to props to that : ).

 

 

 

Spiritual mages

 

Suggested Familiar: None

 

 

 

Take a fighter, kyatt preferred(it hits quite high)

 

 

Not at the spirit mages, but i'm sure you can see what would happen.

 

 

 

Take more ppots and bring 4 cosmic runes, the drops will supply the other runs for contact npc

Ancient Cavern Method

 

IGNORE THIS TASK IT WILL BE FIXED Do not Summon a Familiar before you head into the Whirlpool because they cannot enter with you. You'll usually encounter a Brutal Green Dragon upon entering, but it's not much of a threat because it will only be attacking you for a second. Killing Waterfiends aren't very good experience, but they drop an awful lot of Crimson Charms compared to other creatures. You'll want to use a Crush attack style or you won't be able to kill them efficiently.

 

 

 

Ancient Cavern Guide

 

Suggested Familiar: Bunyip, for healing and eating raw food.

 

 

 

Ignore that task? It's an awesome task. Use a zamorakian spear, a godsword, zerker necklace+obby mace or a saradomin sword(NOt a dragon battleaxe. No inv pic whatsoever?

 

 

 

Dragon Battleaxe

 

If you plan on using this then you won't be needing any Super Strength potions anymore, so replace them with this. Do keep in mind though that the special attack will also lower your Defence, so don't use it on tasks that are too strong for you.

 

The lower attack and defense does not make up for the increased strength. One of the worst thing to take unless your target is very weak. Just take super sets.

 

 

 

 

A. Don't take a gem anyways, just calc the amount of xp you'll get and use that.

 

B. I find the slayer tower tele very useful actually.

 

C. The tarns lair tele.- Pointless, duradel doesn't assign terrordogs sadly. :-#

 

D. Relekka slayer dungeon, fastest way to get to a fairy ring, and home to many slayer creatures.

 

E. Pollniveach tele is a very fast way to access the Pollniveach dungeon, dust devils, and scarabites if you don't have a sceptre.

 

 

 

Excalibur

 

A useful item for weaker tasks. You won't be needing Super Defence potions with this so replace them with this. The Special will raise your Defence, but not by as much as a Super Defence potion, which is why you should use this for weaker tasks.

 

Are you joking? Weaker tasks don't need an excalibur either. :roll:

That's a lot of stuff you said above, some of it is redundant though and some you didn't read properly. There are a few things though that you said that I'm already planning to add to the guide, I just havn't done it yet. Where it says to ignore that task...I mean don't pay attention to the guide for that lol because it isn't really proper. :P As for bringing less food, I have full inventories listed because it just looks neater that way, and it depends on the persons stats to how much of something they need to bring. As for Excalibur, if you're not using your special on anything else, then you might as well use it on that and save yourself a Super defence potion. (I'll add that to that)

 

 

 

Some things do not have guides at all because I have not unlocked them, and am not planning to unlock them because I'm familiar with the routine I've been using for years so I'd rather not get the other tasks. Some of the tasks I just havn't gotten yet though to add them. About Infernal Mages, well that would explain why I havn't gotten them since the update lol, Tip.it guide still has them. #-o

 

 

 

Also, if you could show me a little video of you killing Skeletal Wyverns then that would give me a nice idea of how to go about putting inofrmation to the guide.

Part being a serious slayer is transportation:

 

House located in Brimhaven: for me my house contains 11 different places to go to:

 

Outside (Brim): Spirit tree to all spirit tree network, metal drag cave and cart to Shilo, short route to Karamja main land

 

6 portals: Varrock, Canifis, Watch Tower, Falador, Camelot and Ardougne

 

And glory teleports to another 4 places

 

Of course easy altar for loading prayer.

 

One of the few places where dying is no problem.

 

 

 

Another advice is slayer ring, it saves a lot of running.

 

 

 

My favorite slayer outfit is full armadyl by the way: 99 slayer at 99 combat :ugeek:
