As i've come back to rs i think ill start to contribute back to your feathers.

I'm sorry I haven't posted in a while, but I was sick for a week (wikipedia tells it's called Pharyngitis in English), so I didn't play runescape at all. I watched movies and just slept.

 

Then I started playing, but didn't do anything exciting worth telling about, except ofcourse I killed borks and collected battlestaves.

 

This week I got 80 summoning and I've been skilling with my familiars. I used some charges off my swordfish gloves and now I'm testing what woodcutting with a hydra feels like. I'd make two million free gp if I trained 82-85 woodcutting with yews.

Thanks to Eagle tas for the news :thumbsup: I hadn't noticed it myself and said "lies", but apparently it's true.

 

 

 

Feathers are now worth 4-6gp ea in the grand exchange and the direct trading price is 5gp ea.

 

I'm not sure if Jagex did this manually or if it was the market that did it. As a fan of conspiracy theories I say Jagex doesn't want me to reach my goal. I will not pay 4.3m extra for the last feathers. My feather buying price remains 4gp ea, both in the GE and in direct trading. This means I'll only be able to buy a maximum of 60k feathers at a time.

 

Now I also need to make it clear, that I am not merchanting with feathers. I am still going to get the 10m.

Smithing addy bolts is boring and slow xp, but it gets me addy bolts to fletch. I don't know if it's cost-efficient when you take the used time into account too, but the other options aren't great either: are adamant kites sellable and how much would I lose making them compared to addy bolts?

 

And getting smithing xp isn't even my main goal and every gp I use on it is away from prayer and summoning, #-o , but I can't help it.

Blast furnace is difficult :mrgreen: I think I've read the guide once or twice but it doesn't suit me.

 

I haven't been able to buy the 60k feathers per day, usually I only get 20-30k. Fishers and fletchers are outbuying them :(

 

Just wait till they are 5-7gp, then I'm done for.

 

 

 

I'm thinking I should get all skills above 83 so I could train three summoning levels with tears of guthix.. =P~ Could be faster and easier that way.

Stealing creation was just like fist of guthix, fun for a few days but pointless and boring in the longer run.

Torts cost a lot more (5k vs 300gp) and would be a waste because it only holds 6 more than terrorbird and I need to resummon it every time I enter the dungeon. :thumbdown:

Took me 3 days to finish the quest, only needed help in getting out from Movario's place and had to check what the boss fight would be before doing it. The quest wasn't really hard, I remember legend's quest taking me more time and I didn't even die once doing this one, unlike when I did monkey madness and died twice.

 

 

Compared to the difficulty of the quest I honestly think the reward is too epic. 25k from 82 summoning =P~

 

 

 

And yes I did buy 10k dragon bones earlier this week.

The GE has given me 200k feather in the last two weeks. Somehow I find that lame. I got too used to getting 180k in three days.

I thought it would've taken another prayer level for 135 combat, but I don't mind it :

 

 

 

Loving the falador diary lilies, farming strawberries like no tomorrow, bought 1000 baskets for them :mrgreen: getting 10k extra xp per farming round thanks to them, 295k till 92.
