Did anyone invest in chins when they dropped a few days ago? What price did you buy at and how much have you earned in total? I personally did the noob thing and sold my chins and took a bout 2 hours to liquify all the things i bought from the chins into cash.

Bought my chins for minimum aka 661 each.

I bought 700 at med (500k's worth) and sold 2 days later (still rising, but I needed money quick).

Not sure of their prices, but next time I logged in they had risen.

I still have them, since they'll go back to 800+ each when everybody knows they're fixed. Not everyone reads the forums.

I was thinking about buying them but I worried of the flood of chins in the market would cause them to crash.

I bought 50k red chins for 755 each, I'm using them so I won't be making any profit but if I were to sell now I'd of made around 4m profit so far.

I bought around over 9000 for min and sold them at max and made at least 50million gp off them :thumbsup:

yep just bought 2.5k chins as investment

during the price drop, i got chins from doing junk trades and i made a spicing 2.5m profit.

bought 26k grey chins for like 390 gp each on average, so if they sell for max (450 or so) I'll make like 1.5m lol.

It doesnt matter wether its really going to be fixed. The rumour was enough. People already have made their money. However, IF they arent getting fixed properly next update, they'll crash again, and the players who are still holding onto them will have huge losses. But I think everybody with some brains has sold his by now. (well actually 2 days ago when they kind of peaked).

Yeah, I did see a post by a J-Mod which said the changes made on Ape Toll were completely intentional. Howver, that same moderator posted the next day saying that it was a miss-calculation and that he has made a mistake!

 

So, I don't know what to believe until there's a change (or not ;))

 

And 300k profit is preferable to all those rangers who sold their chins after the first price-drop. Many rangers who had 99 range banked lost millions, only to find that chins have re-risen in price :roll:

I had like 96k or something, kept/threw 18k and sold rest for 8M profit, would have been 11M but I was at work at the time of the price update (when I was planning to sell).
