Macmaster92 Posted July 16, 2008 Share Posted July 16, 2008 Anyways I also like how Sony is planning on keeping the PS2 going and giving support to it for the coming years, makes me happy to think I'll be able to buy a PS3 and have another 13-15 years out of it before spending another $300-$600 dollars and still get good games. They are all supposed to release the next generation consoles by 2011 Microsoft by 2010. According to Microsoft (who knows if this is true or not :roll: ), there will be over 500 songs by the end of this year. Unless Activision's got something big, Rock Band 2 is going to sell more. Just my opinion. And it seems that the whole industry is focusing on attracting more casual gamers now for bigger sales. I don't remember Sony's that well though. Either way, I think we've heard the best that we're gonna hear this year. E3 '08 = Epic Fail There is the chance you know .. Just look on xbox marketplace. We know Sony have the most to show but it just didnt have the impact we wanted and they kept way too much in reserve. It's still a good game nonetheless that can keep most people entertained for months. Just out of interest, what exactly were you expecting from Nintendo at this year's E3? There's already a Zelda on the Wii, a Super Mario adventure on the Wii, Mario Kart Wii, and SSBB. There's also been two new Pokémon games, another Zelda as well as several smaller games developed by Nintendo released on the DS. I didnt know about Madworld. That's because my dad tries to watch cooking shows while E3 is on and I got to watch only like the last minute of the conference and then where the hosts spoke to Reggie afterward-.-. Although, i still wont get madworld, I can't play games with coloring like that or my eyes would die. At Ginger_Warrior- Reggie Fils-Aime said it was when he was asked about hardcore games. I was expecting Nintendo to at least give us hardcore fans SOMETHING for the Wii. I currently own only 4 games for Wii, exactly the ones you said. Those, along with Metroid Prime 3 are about the ONLY good games I have tried on the Wii. 5 good games in a year and a half? Uggh. The DS has many many mroe good games than the Wii, unfortuantely I never got to play the Pokemon games for more than 1 month or Phantom Hourglass at all, because my DS broke. :( Tumblr. Follow me! I mean, GTA turned out fairly well on the PSP from what I remember. Sure it won't have as good of graphics but I don't think it'll be bad. The trouble is, the DS is almost four years old now. It's hard to think it's been that long, but it has. But while it's so successful it's hard to see Nintendo developing a new handheld console. In the meantime, they've already made all the games for the DS they can. Who said animal crossing isnt hardcore?Animal crossing is the most hardcore off console games for people who love it, peopel spending 7000 hours on the gamecube version and just going nuts modding the game, dude ist seriosuley hardcore. Madworld looks incredibly brutal, but so did Manhunt 2 and that got toned down.Thats why it wasnt show at there conferance and for good reason, investors would be turned off.Looks very good. But I kinda laughed when you were hoping for the 4th Gen of Pokemon--(No offence) but they haven't released the idiot sequal, AKA Platinum, which is a fusion of DP. Go to serebii and check it out...Anyway, they can't make a new game unless they release the crappy sequal first. :P E3 wasn't really exiting. Too bad. But I agree with GameInformer for now: E3 has to return to it's former glory. For now, E3 is just another boring conference...
