July 16, 200817 yr Iron Armour actually cannot be lent. There's a list of items, and they didn't put potentially useless items on there. Like cabbage. And iron armour. Item lending is for items that the person may not be able to obtain themselves. Like godswords and party hats and that kind of thing. There's a list of lendable items in the RS KB. The first item I was lent was a whip. I have one already, but we were testing. Then I lent out a red h'ween mask for 24 hours. Another point of confusion was whether the item can be taken back at any time. A friend of mine was lent an Armadyl GS but the one who lent it to him logged just as he entered Bandos, and the sword "poofed." When you're lending an item, you can check a box that will make you either receive it back once you log, or guarantee the lendee that they'll be able to keep it for x amount of hours (up to 24). So be careful that if someone lends you something you know the terms. It annoys me how people will follow another player, begging them to lend them an item. It's so RUDE. If they wanted to lend it, they would. But I don't appreciate running from Lumby to Fally and still being followed by someone wanting to borrow something. Lending needs work, but if people were smarter about it, then not too much work.

He just offered it. I had no idea what the screen that popped up was at first. When did you give it back? When I logged off -- probably 3 hours later. What did you do with it (aside from its normal functions)? I just wore it around the rest of the day. The first item I lent was a fury. I had been chatting with another girl while alching at GE, so I asked her if she'd like to try it out for a few hours, since I was going to log off anyway. Overall, I think I like the update. I've never asked anyone to borrow anything, but just yesterday alone, I was offered a Santa, a SS, and a dragon axe from my friends. I also had a person I did not know randomly offer me his Robin to wear for a bit (which I did! -- I think I'll have to buy one of these). Sure, there's begging, but I have no problem either saying no or just ignoring it. I also enjoy the lending part and have fun just offering to lend items (the fury seems to be popular lately) to people who don't ask.

July 28, 200817 yr I've never lent out an item, I don't care how safe and secure Jagex says the Item Lending system is, I just don't trust it. I also will most likely never lend an item out unless its to a close friend. I also haven't borrowed any items yet. Expecting a good life because you're a good person is like expecting a bull not to charge because you're a vegetarian.

That person needed to use one, so I let him. My relaxation method involves a bottle of lotion, beautiful women, and partial nudity. Yes I get massages.
