I don't have any problems with girls really, except for the fact I always end a relationship too soon cause I get over-protective and jealous, For example, my previous relationship ended VERY badly...

Ah, ok. Well, like I said a few pages back, we have so much in common it scares me. She likes to draw... alot. I can't draw, lol. There should be quite a few things though.

 

I've thought about quite blankly saying, "Look, since we're going to be seeing each other alot, we might as well talk alot more." (I go to Bible studies with her every week, she picks me up because my mum has to babysit my sister 24/7(she's bipolar)) Though that may freak her out a bit. :?

Her younger brother and my younger brother play on the same basketball team, so I see her at games fairly often, but I don't think we've exchanged words more than once or twice.

 

 

 

I'd like to get to know her better (not in a stalker, lustful way) but where do I begin? I have no idea if she's "with" another guy in public school, and I wouldn't want to start being all outgoing in an obvious, weird kind of way, because I haven't said hardly anything to her in years! That's why it wouldn't work to just call her up and talk because it would be completely outside the norm of what's happened since first grade...What should I do?

Hmmm... I would suggest finding her on MySpace or Facebook (or some other form of public communication) and politely re-introducing yourself. Talk for a while, ask for her number, talk more, see if you're compatible, and let your relationship blossom.

It's easier when you're older and meet complete strangers to ask out. That's a problem with being in school and dating people you have classes with. It'll likely get nasty when it ends.

The next time you meet at a game, exchange numbers! It's a great way to see how she's changed and to find out if she's dating. After that, you discuss how much things of changed, school life, and other new things in general. It's also a way to find out who, if anyone, she's seeing without directly asking.

Not the best idea for someone scared of rejection. Being friends with someone you're asking out is like a gamble. You increase your chances of a long term relationship, because he/she knows you. But you also increase the "awkwardness" of the situation afterwards. Do you currently like someone, or are you just generally stating the fact?

I think I asked out an eighteen (or more)-year old girl today. I should probably tell her I'm fourteen...I'm guessing that she thinks I'm a Tech student. She was working at a store me and my friends were shopping at, and they dared me. I got her number, I should probably call her, if only to tell her it was just a dare. I think it's a [bleep] move to lead a girl on when it was just a dare or something like that.

 

Turns out she was 22, I called her last night. Um, but one more thing. I told her I was 17. I don't remember what she said after that, because her end got really fuzzy, she was at the Library (a bar here - she asked me if I wanted to come when we first started talking).

Well, I just had a pretty long conversation with this girl. She seemed alot more enthusiastic when I started talking about Europe. It may be something else that happened in her life, but I'm hoping it's because I started to talk to her about something she's interested in.

My gf and I have very little in common but I love her for her personality (she just makes being around her fun), her looks, and all the little things she does and I know the longer we're together the more we'll end up having in common. It's not always fun to be with someone who's exactly like you.

I think it just seemed to him he hardly knew her, and that he couldn't really get into her that much if he didn't know her in the first place.
