I would very much like to deliver to your aprents a swift kick to the [wagon]. I've read your story and this is just taking it way too far. I've seen some overbearing and insane parents (even met a few) but this ranks pretty high on my "screwed up" scale. My advice to you is to stand up for yourself against them. I see that you already yelled at them, and we'll see how that pans out. Dude though, If I were you, I'd get emancipated. Parents should NOT have that much influence on their child's love life (in such a manipulative manner, anyway). I do see them as trying to protect you, but that sure as hell was not the right way to do it. Not only did they hurt you, but they more than likely just hurt a potentially unstable teenage girl. There are few things worse than that.

I'm speechless irl after reading this, you're parents have no right to do that! You cared about this girl and she cared about you (I assume), so what if she use to cut herself? They still didnt, and bolted (rather sealed) their room shut during the night. So, im pretty much clueless what to do. My girlfriend is really hurt. Im not even gonna lie to yall, I love her, but my parents hate that. Im sure she loves me, but they said really horrible things to her that they cant take back. They meant every word to her. They are hell bent on keeping me away from her. I told them, wait until i get my license, then you'll see some real misconduct.

I've been telling her that every 5 minutes. literally. (programmed my computer to send her a certain text to her phone ever 5 mins) Shes really really hurt. She says theres a small chance she will, but from what ive seen chicks do, this chance could be alot bigger, or not even there. She says she loves me to, just cant deal with my parents stuff anymore. she told me my parents have been making snide remarks to her for over 2 years now. When I learned that, thats when i threatened them with their lives. Sworddude, my closest relative is my pops and he's taken my parents side of this. Other relative would be my brother-friend who lives in FL. I tell her my parents are peices of garbage every time i send a text.
