July 30, 200817 yr Hello all I was wondering what the fastest method to 99 farming is? I have heard some say it is fastest to do only herbs and trees if so what trees? Just a little lost but really need some farming exp. Thanks in advance :D
July 30, 200817 yr the highest trees you can plant at your level (both fruit and regular) trees are the easiest xp. plant a tree, pay the farmer, come back later and you've got 2-10k xp

Herb: All, snapdragons Trees: Yews, they're good Fruit trees: Palm, they give ridiculous xp and they're really cheap compared to Magics. I have several friends that are higher then me in farming and they have NEVER bought a seed. It can be done. Just because something takes time does not mean it is impossible. I just wanted to know what everybody thought the best exp was.

I prefer to earn my levels the hard way so any advice would be great.

July 30, 200817 yr Get 200m woodcut XP, then use all the tree seeds you get for farming. That should get you somewhere around level 99.

That is the problem I am having also....Do I continue to waste so much time doing all plots for very little exp or focus on the ones that give a lot of exp?

Watermelons give almost as much xp as some herb seeds.

July 30, 200817 yr It's pretty impossible to really calculate the fastest possible farming experience if you plan on collecting the seeds yourself. Slayer is a good solution for herb seeds. MTK could work for tree seeds. Otherwise, you're screwed. (Oh, and Vinesweeper.) To put it bluntly, [bleep] off.

As others have said, the fastest way without buying seeds would be maxing out maples in MtK and also playing vinesweeper constantly. Sure, you can't use the good xp seeds all the time, thus slowing you down, but to me it feels more like an accomplisment getting the seeds myself. Pickpocket master farmers if you want some lower leveled allotment seeds, or the occasional better ones. Remember to unlock My Arm's patch where you grow your best seeds. Other data was removed when acoount got hacked...
July 30, 200817 yr The Method of buying bagged plants for farming xp results in fast (if not fastest) farming xp. But this comes at a price, getting from 50 farming to 99 using bagged magic trees costs 2,904,150,000gp. Vinesweeper is pretty good xp, and if you know what you are doing, sorceresses' (dont know how to spell it) garden is a decent way to get farming xp. POH Agility Course, Please Support!

If you don't want to buy, combine MTK with slayer. Do remember that using MTK is effectively buying too, though... And this method will take a while if you want 99. You're likely to reach 99 slayer before you get 99 farming.
July 30, 200817 yr Author Thank you all for your responses. I am so glad to hear that I am not the only one that takes pride in my work by not buying everything. I am not saying that those that buy things for skills are doing it wrong or that it is bad it is just not for me. I have 20 mil in my bank and there it will sit for a long time until I figure out what I want not what I need for a skill. Again thanks for the reply. Btw some on here kept saying HE umm I am a SHE. ;)
