Tribal
Thank god, the Packers can finally move on and the Brett Favre show can end. I think the whole thing with him is ridiculous, if you want to retire, do it, stop pretending. Have fun on a losing team, horrible offensive line, good luck. Arcticrunite
New YORK Jets, not the New Jersey Jets. And i'm GLAD this is finally over, maybe I can finally turn on SportsCenter and watch some actual highlights, not constant marathon of "Brett Favre this, Brett Favre that"
Daviduhlich
Good for him. The Jets are still screwed, though  But seriously, why would the Packers take a trade like that? The Jets should improve from last year, but what are the chances they actually make the playoffs this season?

Stephen9o3
Oh wow, didn't really expect that, but then again I haven't been following the wholething very closely at all. I just expected he'd end up back with the packers in the end. At least he still gets to wear the colour green. Combat FTL

bongo_man
Excellent, I can't wait until they go to Tennessee so Jevon Kearse can lay it to him. PandaTheMan03
I doubt Favre will make it through the season. ROFL I totally agree. He won't play the whole season, at least I don't think so. The Jets aren't going anywhere this year, and I don't think Favre can "lead" them. He's too overdramatic. And yes, thank GOODNESS this whole thing is over, I really hated turning on Sportscenter and seeing his name EVERYWHERE. Now they can finally focus on the Olympics and other sports news that matter!! Yeah, and on their ticker scrolling news on the bottom they had a whole section labeled FAVRE, along with MLB, NFL, etc.

Range_This11
Being from Wisconsin and never watching a football game without him behind center makes this really kind of hurt. Most of us Wisconsinites wanted him to stay retired. I realize the dude wants to play football, but I think he should be able to see that last year was the time to bow out. I thought I heard that the Jets O Line was supposed to be above average this year... :-k I doubt it, their line is always terrible. The Jets practically invented the shotgun formation for that very reason, to give the quarterback a little more time. catch it now so you can like it before it went so mainstream
