I don't believe I know everything about them, nor do I. I am just beginning to like their music. The code in my sig should say 1032 not 0132. magekillr
About Disturbed: Meh, I liked them with their first album, but I just formatted my Ipod and I'm not putting them back on. I don't enjoy bands that sound the same in all of their songs. It's all the same: Nickel Back, Dragonforce, 3 Doors Down, Disturbed Are they "dead"? No, far from it lol, but I don't like them. Piscis_Rex
Anyone who gets there playlist, or says there favorite song is (Some song from gh3) after it came out. I hate there guts Why is first hearing a song on guitar hero and deciding it's your favourite song any different than hearing on the radio, or hearing it on youtube by accident? I mean maybe if they say they like a band but only know the one song from guitar hero then I kinda see your point, they don't like the band they like the song. I myself got into several of my favourite bands from their songs on guitar hero (i.e. Rise Against, The Fall of Troy and Rage Against The Machine) but after listening to these songs, I went out and downloaded (off napster, not illegal) more of their songs and now have quite a few of them. Does the fact I first really started listening to them after hearing them on guitar hero make me any less of a fan? 99.99999998465% of the world's population is not me, if you are the 0.00000001535% that is me, put this in you signature -"being famous is like being a woman, if you have to tell people you are, you aren't"

Protip: you don't appear either smart or edgy with your one-word replies. They make you sound like a little child. But let's face it, Mlbfan, you are too dumb to coherently explain this theory of yours, that it somehow makes someone less of a fan if they got into a band through the Guitar Hero games. So why bother, right? You are just too bloody dumb.
Bluejayfan94
Ok, well. I believe Simple Plan has died. They don't do anything anymore, and now they ar not looking like a punkband (though they were much to begin with) I've also noticed that people seem to dislike Linkin Park. For what? IMO their songs have gotten better, more techniques used in them, and for alot of people I have heard saying they are Emo - They're not. Just because you dislike a band, don't say they are emo, gay, etc. Sorry if this had gotten a little bit off-topic, but I just wanted to let those haters know something in a civilized matter, and not like this : OMFG STOP DISSING LINKIN PARK! THEY ARE MUCH MORE OF A BAND THAT [insert band Here]!!!!!!11111one1 HomerSPC's Lets Plays : : Minecraft, Portal, Halo and more!

After a one word reponce from someone else I feel like I should post as well I'm saying that 1 song is not enough to love a band If you liked the song and liked other from the band that's cool but 1 song is not enough to brag about how good it is. If you do things right people won't be sure you've done anything at all.
rangeor
One band that died (this one's opinion) is System of a Down. I used to be an insane fan and everything and they were practically the only band I liked, I learned all of their songs on guitar and things like that. But ever since they went on hiatus, things have gotten worse. Serj's new album is good but isn't great. Daron's new album is horrible, although some of the songs are pretty badass, but just not my style. Either I set my expectations too high or they really did go downhill. Harakiri
Metallica...I just heard a song from their newest album...and I nearly killed myself laughing...it was horrible! It was not heavy metal at all...one of my favorite bands goes and kills themselves more with this crap... And before you were talking about disturbed...I think they have gotten better TBH since they were mostly doing heavier versions of all the eighties rock songs a while back, the only one I liked of those was Land of Confusion
BlueLancer
Motorhead just recently released a totally new album, and Lemmy is already friggin' 60 years old. Younger bands should learn from his energy.. If an old chap like this can still make good sounding hard rock/metal in his sixties, what the heck is the problem with guys who are 20-30 and after a few albums and breakups, 'metal' becomes 'soft pop' and sales/reviews turn to total crap because people literally "aren't buying" it.. Woodcut Lvr
Jesus Christ. All these kids like Three Days Grace. They're dead now. It's like, so freaking annoying when kids wear their shirts and stuff. It makes me want to kill them. And I hate the band now. It's just so stupid, the music and all, now because people like them. (See how idiotic that sounds MLB?) PS: Three Days Grace is win. I had a piece of grass on my shoe, and she wiped that off. Yeah. Impressive, eh? That's probably the closest I've ever been to having sex. :P
assassin_696
In my opinion, newer Chili Peppers stuff is a lot more mediocre compared to their slightly older days. I know they've moved away from their funk rap early days to a different sound, they just seem to have lost some of their energy. It's still good to listen to, just not quite as fun. Possibly the same with the Babyshambles. It's a shame when band members cleaning up makes their music less exciting.
