I need help makin a skiller acc. Wat skill should I start first in f2p?

 

Also is I C 3 A G 3 good for a username for a skiller?

dont make one, completely useless.

I want to make 1 cause I made an acc on mostly everything like pures and hybrids and etc. So I wanna try somethin new

Makin a main is gonna take a long time and I don't got a long time. I got bout 2 weeks playin this game left. Its cause of skool.

What makes you think making a skiller doesn't cost time? It actually costs more time, as you kind of need a few 99's for your skiller to be decent.

No, because starting a new account is fail, pking is fail and it's a waste of time. In my opinion.

You can't be afraid of a 1 def pure. Most people these days could 1 hit KO them with maxed str gear,a steel titan and bgs or ags. And skillers do have it rough because they can't make money as easily.They have to work harder before the cash flows in because they are in danger of randoms and monsters that surround the area.

Start out by mining or woodcutting. Once you can cut willows, just cut and burn there. Then go to mining and smithing.

OT: I would probably make a combat pure but it's just me. After several days of skilling it gets too boring to go on. So I make a pure for combat only. Since i use my main for skilling, i don't need a skiller pure.

Why not? If he wants to make a skiller then he can make a skiller. People need to remember that this is a game, and its for fun. If he wants to make a skiller, I say go for it.

 

 

 

Edit: If you still are making a skiller, I would suggest starting with mining. From mining you can mine pure ess for rcing, mine ore for smithing, and also just use it to make money for other skills. What I did on my skiller was mine ess, sell it, and then use that money to get all the tools I will need (Pickaxes up to rune, hatchets up to rune, feathers for fishing, etc.) Once you have all those things getting your other skills up will be a breeze. Just do what you'd like. I'd say if you do start new, start with Woodcutting to make a little bit of cash. Good luck with what ever you decide to do.

i read through the first 5 posts and all of them bash the author for making a skiller in the first place.

 

 

 

Many say its a waste of time etc. well u know wat?... mains r also a waste of time and u know wat else runescape is a waste of time. the real point is the runescape should be enjoyed. if making a seperate account for skills and another account for a different purpose it is alright. some people enjoy doing this. for instance i prefer to do combat skills rather than noncombat ones so i just made a pure.

 

 

 

now for my advice:

 

 

 

make a skiller only if u enjoy doing noncombat skills and if u will not get bored of doing endless clicking. wat i would start first is do all the noncombat quests that a f2p. as this will give u some starting xp. next is do a little bit of all skills and find out which one u enjoy most and work on that. then repeat etc. there is really not much advice that we tifers can give u. rs is to be enjoyed and if we r telling u how to enjoy that game then that is just wrong. do wat u like and wat u feel like is the best advice i can give.

Everybody else has given you advice already, but here's some tips when you start to get more levels.

 

 

 

-Keep raw materials like yew logs and lobsters (if you plan to fish them). They will probably go up in price when semi-pking comes back.

 

-Don't bore yourself. Its just a game, don't try to fish 10k salmon or chop and burn 10k willows if you don't even like to do those things.

 

-At least give a chance to each skill. Who knows, you might like it.

 

-Wear a training bow or regular bow without arrows if you don't want to get combat xp. Then if you accidentally click on something, then you won't get combat xp from it.

EDIT: Oh, completely looked over the second question. Uhm, if you like it its fine. But it kind of looks more like a pker name to me (I know you didn't mean it like that, but anything with ice and letters replaced with numbers looks pkerish to me). Skiller's names are usually more original. Creating a juxtaposition with 2 words often has a good effect. Just make sure just not to use 1337speak with it.

Don't bother making yourself a new account, just use your current existing account instead. Why? Because of the time you put into that account, it would be more beneficial if you put it into your current account.

 

Not all skilling accounts have to have level 3 combat though, such as my account. It has 72 Combat and I spend all my time skilling.

Anyways, OT: To answer your question, you have to be a DIY sorta person to succeed in making a skiller: like fish your own fish for cooking/ cut your own logs for fm/ mine your own ores for smithing, and in p2p, farm your own herbs for herblore, etc..

You could just spend the time skilling on a main?

 

Theres not much point in making a skiller, i personally would much prefer to spend the time skilling on my main.

I will give you what you need to do to create a decent skiller; whether you want to anymore or not.

 

 

 

You need a suitable name:

 

 

 

c34g3 isn't that good a name for a skiller.

 

You need something that relates to skills and is original.. try not to put number on the end. You can put them in the middle to make a word like "l0gs" etc.

 

 

 

Some of my mates that are skillers chose these names:

 

 

 

- A Log Burner.

 

- Fm Guru ~ R.I.P ~

 

- Fire Make Fm.

 

- King 0f lvl3 ~ not skiller anymore..

 

 

 

Some of the ones i've seen are:

 

 

 

- Soul in Pain.

 

- Sunny Earth.

 

- Woodcutterbe.

 

- Unseen Pow.

 

 

 

Try get names similar to them.

 

 

 

You then need an outfit:

 

 

 

Pointless just "look good" outfits:

 

 

 

- Elegant.

 

- Cavaliers.

 

- Rares.. (santa + h'ween masks + partyhats.)

 

 

 

Skill outfits:

 

 

 

- Boots of Lightness.

 

- Spottier capes.

 

- Lumberjack clothing.

 

 

 

You then need a few 99's maybe to get noticed as a skiller.

 

 

 

Popular first 99's for skillers:

 

 

 

- Woodcutting.

 

- Firemaking.

 

- Cooking.

 

- Fishing.

 

- Hunter.

Once you have made a skiller and gotten fairly nice levels you will have wished the time spent on that account was on your main. Everything done on a skiller can be done on a main.

 

 

 

If you are the type of person who wants attention all the time, and can't wait for the hundreds of little kids dry humping your leg because you are a skiller, then all power to you. People make skillers because they want people to notice them, not because they are fun to play on.

Make a main.
