Yeah, I like to train magic in FoG. If you run, I just take it in as a little challenge and fire blast you in stride ^_^

In my opinion, you're a total noob if you protect pray in Fist Of Guthix. Especially if I was nice enough not to pray against you. Jesus, some people just want an easy win. Seriously, I just did some FoG for the first time ever, and all I had to compete against were people praying to win. Does nobody want some fun? or is pray2win the moral of the story here?

 

 

 

Some poeple want an easy win? you are giving it to them by not praying.

 

Prayer has been put into RS with a reason, and i use it to gain more charges and thus, more tokens and rating!

 

 

 

Now, on topic: Yes, people are lazy and ignorant, but thats the mentality these days, and it is still spreading! :ohnoes:

You forget combat doesn't equal intelligence.

I find it good in P2P as there's less of these people, but in F2P it's so boring as I win every game. Some high levels who I win are frustrated at not getting easy wins or just using ancients with no backup weapon. I'm not brilliant at the game or using the highest level weapons and armour, just win a lot due to these type of people.

 

 

 

 

 

 

I've lost to a level 40 or so before too, so level isn't everything as some people exit as soon as they see my combat level.

I haven't played the game in a stratetic way yet, because 90% of the time my opponent is like a lvl 60. I kill them before they get 300+ charges, then when I'm hunted I just stand in the middle and wait for them to slowly kill me while I get charges.

There is a point when people actually WANT to have fun believe it or not. Standing in the center being splashed with mana water is NOT fun. IT'S BORING. And I'd rather EARN my place on the hiscores than just have be handed over to me.

Aye. If winning was all that mattered than there would BE no hard option on any game.

FoG being the first F2P minigame (correct me if i'm wrong, mite have been bh or cw not sure) was great at first with new and exciting equipment for everyone (especially F2P coz all we got is junk really) and hense i spent maybe 1 1/2 weeks just on FoG and have just under 5000 rating atm. just as others have said combat really doesnt mater that much, its all about strategy.

 

I am a runner n00b, for those concerned and those who complain about prayer ppl and running ppl can go stand in the middle of bh and complain because we dont care, your just disadvantaging yourselves by not doing it.

I was just playing FoG and I lost but I was running and house hugging and things and when the game finished he said to me "you fking noob runner" But the game is meant to be played stratiegly not tanking in the middle and then swearing at anybody who runs.

I'm actually one of the few good strategic players in fog. In a f2p world, I was able to defeat several 120s, but I can lose to a 70 lol

 

 

 

Unfortunately yes in these worlds, mostly pures want to train. I let em train. Free rating and tokens for me lol
