I hate how the menus work in Fullscreen, so I use fixed. I wish you could have full screen, but with the old menu set up

My laptop, which is supposed to be totally sexy, has a hard time running full screen. In fact, I play on LOW DETAIL with the FIXED SCREEN.

 

 

 

It's so epic fail that I've cut down on my playing time by at least 90%.

 

 

 

Someone help me.

 

Don't use a laptop. Use a proper computer.

I never use it, so no, I don't take it for granted. I guess if I had made the switch, I would take it for granted though.

I rarely go on HD, I only do when I'm getting bored because HD makes it look neater. Therefore I don't think I take it for granted.

Personally; I dont use HD because of lag; but for the short time I did use it; I was like "wow". The only thing I didn't like was the outfits, they don't look as good in my opinion. Now, I think most players take the work that Jagex put into this project for granted, and just consider it as everyday RS life.

 

 

 

If you have spare time I would take the time to drop a compliment onto Jagex.

Im with you. The first day I tried out the resizing window, and just couldn't play with the new interface. I just find it alot quicker to use the interface I know and have played with for almost two years.

Same with me. Theres also less distance to move your mouse when you have to. ;)

Eventhough I've played RSC, beta RS2, crappy RS2 and the new HD, I wouldn't really want to play RS anymore if it went back to Low Detail. It's just unbelievably crappy looking :?

I've played through all of those too, and I agree. The graphics update is a very big step forward, and it improves very much upon the old graphics. :

it lags enough that I only use it for more relaxed things like slayer, so given that I play in low detail a substantial amount of time, yes I do appreciate it :)

I think its good for the new people joining, but for those veterans out there, they'd stick with the low details...I really want to play in Hd once but my computer can't handle it for some reason

When I first loaded RS HD, only about a week and a half ago, I was nothing less than stunned. Simply walking around and seeing the new everythings was absolutely enjoyable. Port Phasmatys took my breath away.

 

 

 

Now I'm used to it, and I'm not longer amazed. However, I usually do think "oooh" when I see a place I haven't seen in HD yet.

I don't even use it lol

 

 

 

Maybe I'd appreciate it if they spent less time working on making the grass look pretty and more time on making my character look less like a girl

Yeah one day it will beocme the new standard graphics.
