AndyPandy
I'm still not clear, what does this thing actually do? So don't let anyone tell you you're not worth the earth, These streets are your streets, this turf is your turf, Don't let anyone tell you that you've got to give in, Cos you can make a difference, you can change everything, Just let your dreams be your pilot, your imagination your fuel, Tear up the book and write your own damn rules, Use all that heart, hope and soul that you've got, And the love and the rage that you feel in your gut, And realise that the other world that you're always looking for, Lies right here in front of us, just outside this door, And it's up to you to go out there and paint the canvas, After all, you were put on the earth to do this, So shine your light so bright that all can see, Take pride in being whoever the [bleep] you want to be. darkjab
Apparently the Adze also increases firemaking exp when used in conjunction with the gloves and ring (guess it makes sense). The 202.5 you get from Yew logs becomes 250 exp! That's what i've heard from another forum, so I guess it is quite useful, an extra ~25% experience per log is very nice. Does that basically take off a quarter of the price it takes to get from 92-99 firemaking? *has poor maths*
Julius47108
Well good thing I have 96 fming but I'm gonna have to get the other skills up to get all the rewards. http://www.erepublik.com/en/referrer/Julius+Rodvigo <-- Clicky!
AndyPandy
I know it increases firemaking exp, but it also said things about mining and woodcutting. anish00b
I know it increases firemaking exp, but it also said things about mining and woodcutting. it acts like a dragon axe...when woodcutting it automatically burn a few logs( read a few posts back and you'll see someone else mention that) it acts like a rune pick aswell!nothing new about that is known as yet signature your as this use backwards this read to enough smart were you if^^^^read backwards^^^^ http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?f=113&t=757562&p=6009903^^^^The Best Melee Training Spot In The Game^^^^ http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?f=180&t=786213^^^^The new Bandits^^^^ even i have the misfile craze!!! darkjab
I know it increases firemaking exp, but it also said things about mining and woodcutting. I wasn't really answering you before, just adding that the adze does supply extra exp since it was only really confirmed that the ring and gloves do. Basically the adze works just like a rune pickaxe and also as a dragon woodcutting axe, saving you 1 bank space. As an added bonus, when chopping trees, some of the logs will get burnt, supplying you with additional firemaking exp whilst you chop trees, very handy for willow chopping! cat666
Rewards are good for me. I begrudge paying 2mil for a dragon axe and always sell back after use. Be nice to always have one for free  The burn as chopping thing is OK I guess. Though I will get 99 firemaking long before I train woodcutting again. Trust the Gene Genie! Nifty
I'm thinking that if the adze burns the occasional log when chopping that someone who has one should try the silver and gold rocks.Perhaps it melts the ores on occasion into bars? I'm all for high requirements for quest/game rewards. It brings back pride of ownership when you can't go up with a team and get lucky with a drop to show off, or sell a rare to get big cash and buy from someone else. I hope Jagex continues the trend. Kietaro1
am i the only person thinking d axe is gonna crash now? The interesting thing is that this could effectively drop the dragon wc axe market. I mean why pay around 2m for an axe when you can level a skill to 92 cheaper and still get an equivalent tool? Well sort of. I will agree that it will drop but not crash. It is still a high requirement that most people do not have/will not bother to get (even if it is "soooo easy to get now wah wah wahh!"). XxTearGodxX
I like how you all say getting the new Inferno Adze is "free". It isn't "free" you need to pay for the logs to get your lvl up and take the time to burn those logs.

whiteboy1102
Ok, so if 6 beacons are needed for the ring, how many are needed for the gloves? And shepherds we shall be, for Thee, my Lord, for Thee. Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, that our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command. So we shall flow a river forth to Thee, and teeming with souls shall it ever be. In nomine Patris et Filii et Spiritus Sancti.

Ravenkana
So does this minigame give good experience for lighting the things? Is there any incentive to play after you get the items? I may only have 55 firemaking, but the rewards look... bleh. The adze is cool, but considering you need level 70 smithing and 59 construction to light all the beacons to get it, well, it looks a little less useful. Jagex made this update look like it was going to breathe new life into firemaking, and make it a useful skill. But all I see are three rewards, all of which aid firemaking (and woodcutting and mining, to a certain extent). If the CORPORAL beast is this hard, imagine how hard a GENERAL or COLONEL beast would be. a corporal is not even an admirable rank in armies that use that ranking system. Yeah, it is a pking minigame, so any arguments anybody makes will probably be biased. The best way this will end :Everybody just says,"I'm not arguing with you anymore, goodbye."The worst way this will end: I don't really know, psychological warfare? Worldwide thermonuclear war? Pie eating contest?
