I have been at Saradomin alot, and lately i have experienced something: that whenever i have stopped and Zilyana got big hits on me: my protect prayer has gone down (I was praying magic). The thing is, i am quite positive that my prayer didn't drain and neither did i "misclick" my prayer protect off. This is something ive experienced atleast 2 times, i would dare to say 3. Also a friend has said his run were put off(Not his energy but the action), but that's just something i wanna point out, it's not so important though. That she has put my prayer out, has happend rarely, and i am again: quite positive i didn't make a mistake.

 

 

 

So my question is: could it be that Zilyana has a rare special attack/ability?

since I don't have 70 agil and haven't been to sara, I wouldn't know much, but I think we'd need some pictures/more statistics. 2-3 times doesn't prove much besides that it could just be a glitch. :|

I never thought of that. She might have a rare attack or whatever, maybe test it a few times to try to find out the probability of it occuring. Or it could be chance...

I in no way mean to imply stupidity on your part by posting this, but is it possible that you have been accidentally turning your run off by clicking on the run symbol that is on the edge of the minimap accidentally as you move around? I know just in my daily travels I accidentally do it sometimes when trying to click the minimap.

That might actually be a possibility. Ever since they took out the rounded-edge-sides of the arena, they probably wanted to make sure NOTHING makes her easy :?: .

I've got 2-3k zil kills and have never experienced this. I know people with multiple times that and they have never experienced it.

Though I haven't been to the Gwd, it could be that she secretly uses Saradomin's lightning or whatever it's called while you have a different protect spell on.

Yeah, most liekly a glitch.

I wasn't out to flame or insult either, I just wanted to add a personality to an otherwise robotic response.

Been to sara lots of times and never had this happen to me.

Though, it would make sense that she can do this as it would match Saradomin Strike if you multiplied it by 2.5 and gave it a nice dose of Verac. Though, if she can also pierce magic prayer (isn't that what you are supposed to keep on while fighting Zilyana?) that makes her the third monster to be able to pierce prayers. Edit: I forgot about goraks, so make it fourth.

It could be that you panicked when she attacked you, and in a rush to get away didn't realize your prayer running out.

 

 

 

But I think its more likely a very rare glitch or you didn't realize your prayer getting low. I've never had this happen to me whenever I've been at Zil.

 

 

 

But you shouldn't get hit by her melee attack anyway ;)
