Sam
Rather flat I think. I would work on shading and colours. 2257AD.TUMBLR.COM
Shiny
Rather flat I think. I would work on shading and colours. I agree. work on depth and shading pl0x. And use marvel comics for anatomy reference, not runescape.
Skull
My first ever sig, made entirely pixel by pixel.. Nice try... For the stuff you actually did make, try adding shading and working on your anatomy. Like shiny said, Marvel is a pretty good place to learn from. You also need to work on your perspective, the fence isn't bad, but it's certainly not correct. Also, detail seems to be missing from your sig. Look out your window (if you live in a city or something a park works) and look at the grass in the distance. Try to make your grass look like that. The same goes for the sky, try adding in clouds, changing the saturation from the horizon line to make it more realistic. Last is saturation. I must admit, you did a lot better than most beginners who use your standard ms paint colours with the saturation all the way to the max for everything. Your only real issue was the ice, you should lower the saturation on that and darken it a little. Sorry if this seems a bit harsh, I tried to keep it nice. Just keep working at it and you'll get better. I was alot worse than you when I started (granted I'm not that good now) but I got better with practice. Keep trying :) [bleep] the law, they can eat my dick that's word to Pimp
entangle
Don't you mean "my first ever 2d paint sig"? Every image is made of pixels, and even for the supposed "pixel style" people have tried to do around here for years, it still doesn't qualify. Sam
Well, pixel seems to be the general term for it. 2257AD.TUMBLR.COM
Jopie211
You didn't make it entirely pixel by pixel. Like Skull pointed out, the border, skulls, swords and Robin Hood hat/boots (forgot what they're called exactly, haven't played RS for quite a while) are all 'ripped' from the game/website. Don't try to fool us. Other than that, the anatomy, shading and lots of other things need work. I'm not going to explain how to do all of that, there are plenty of links to pixel guides in the resources sticky. Also, it may be a better idea to start out with something small, like a 100x100 pixel avvy instead of a signature sized canvas. pixel avvy by me deviantART

Gilformen
it reminds me of magazine collages, where you take a bunch of pictures and little pieces and make a big random grotesque conglomeration. theres very little perspective, it looks very flat. and the pieces of rs images makes it worse. and your tree needs a lot of work. thats not a pixel sig. 32,606th to 99 magic || 15,388th to 99 dungeoneering || 12,647th to 99 farming14,792nd to 99 range || 24,954th to 99 herblore

I hear ya... some people here seem to have no respect for work that is as good/the same style as theirs. Some just have to realize that everyone isn't instantly as good as the majority of artists who post here, and that giving CC instead of saying "just start over" or "just leave" doesn't help. Not accusing anyone in particular, just wanted to say it. /rant 8,325th to 99 Firemaking 3/9/08 | 44,811th to 99 Cooking 7/16/084,968th to 99 Farming 10/9/09 | Runescaper August 2005-March 2010Tip.it Mod Feb. 2008-Sep. 2008 | Tip.it Crew Sep. 2008-Nov. 2009

Look, I don't have a problem with first-pixel siggys. Pixeling is very hard, and it's best to go easy on the beginners. But when you rip images from the Runescape web site, copy-paste them in MSPaint, and try to pass off the resulting mess as a pixel sig that you apparently "made entirely pixel by pixel", that's when I have a problem. It's the effort issue here, not the art. (Sorry if I sounded like I'm being snotty or something) Here be dragons ^ Dragon of the Day
Shiny
I agree with you. I have tried pixelling, and it was really hard. I find it annoying that people will cheat i nthe pixel game, bypass the laws and put ripped images on. It makes it no fun for others. Now I understand this is your first sig, but I didn't rip when I did mine.

rdakilla
sometimes some people need a helping hand at times. he just doesn't need people saying that its been ripped its his FIRST time at doing this. sooner or later he will be doing this like a pro. so lets just give him props on what hes already doing. thanks to axeraider70 for creating the beautiful signature! baalboy5
Kinda adding to much, overkilled to be honest. Just go simple. Your ideas are expanding so much you lost the basic concept that you were planing. Don't you know the first rule of MMO's? Anyone higher level than you has no life, and anyone lower than you is a noob. People in OT eat glass when they are bored.
