September 1, 200817 yr I signed up for a website and used my Debit Card to pay the $1.49 fee. Turns out, they do a monthly fee of $49.99 after the first 14 days you join. You can't end your account online. You have to call an 800 number. So, the calling times are 8am - 5pm. I called at 8:30am. It is now 12:30pm and I am still waiting to talk to someone. I was number 27 when I called. At the moment, I am number 5 after 4 HOURS! It's ridiculous. I need to get to someone otherwise I will be charged $49.99 a month or I will have to cancel my debit card... Anyone else been on hold or waiting to talk to someone for a long time? Either they'll make a "mistake", or the internet form will be "broken", or you'll be kept on the phone for hours, or they'll say they didn't get your letter... etc. I have been kept on hold for about an hour before, when calling gas, electricity, and especially internet companies. For it is the greyness of dusk that reigns.The time when the living and the dead exist as one.
