fgfuyfyuiuy0
I signed up for a website and used my Debit Card to pay the $1.49 fee. Turns out, they do a monthly fee of $49.99 after the first 14 days you join. You can't end your account online. You have to call an 800 number. So, the calling times are 8am - 5pm. I called at 8:30am. It is now 12:30pm and I am still waiting to talk to someone. I was number 27 when I called. At the moment, I am number 5 after 4 HOURS! It's ridiculous. I need to get to someone otherwise I will be charged $49.99 a month or I will have to cancel my debit card... Anyone else been on hold or waiting to talk to someone for a long time? I <3 Gears of War 2. Add me on Xbox Live and mention you are from Tif :D
evil_mumm_ra
that is completely ridiculous. sounds like a dodgy site anyway. longest i've been on hold would probably be like 2 hours bouncing around between people with my isp when my modem died last time. RichieMcD
Longest I've been on old is 46 minutes while trying to ring Childline. Saddening to think some child could be beaten / molested / raped within those 46 minutes I was on hold if it was someone in that situation. dusqi
I think that that is common with those kinds of offers, the ones where you sign up now and it's cheap or free, but they charge you if you choose to keep your subscription. Either they'll make a "mistake", or the internet form will be "broken", or you'll be kept on the phone for hours, or they'll say they didn't get your letter... etc. I have been kept on hold for about an hour before, when calling gas, electricity, and especially internet companies. For it is the greyness of dusk that reigns. The time when the living and the dead exist as one.

Yeah. My stepmom recommended mailing them, but they are charging me within 72 hours and I doubt it'd get there on time. They don't refund and I bet the letter will get 'lost'. If nothing happens over the phone then worst-case-scenario is I cancel my debit card :\ Cancel your card, I think you've fallen to a scam. Seriously, cancel it. They only charged $1.49 so far. The site is GoDaddy safe. If it comes down to it then I will cancel my card. EDIT: Caller number 2 : I am going to chew out the caller about their crappy phone system... I <3 Gears of War 2. warren211
I'm the kind of impatient person who hangs up after waiting 10 minutes. So I've never experienced very long waits. [hide=]tip it would pay me $500.00 to keep my clothes ON :( :lol:But then again, you fail to realize that 101% of the people in this universe hate you. Yes, humankind's hatred against you goes beyond mathematical possibilities. That tears it. I'm starting an animal rebellion using my mind powers. runescapeloser22
I waited 3 hours calling Microsoft about my free copy of Halo 3 that I was supposed to get back in April, from a promotion. I still haven't gotten it... They said they mailed it in January.
Orpheus
I've waited about 20 minutes on the Microsoft hotline about my Xbox's status, then hung up. ____
I think the longest was about 5hrs total hold time. The total call length was about 6.5hrs.
Von_Goon
My hold time seems in no comparison to some of you. My mate put me on hold when he went to ask his mum if he could come over one day. Ended up taking 15 minutes. Listened to his poor quality Linkin Park hold tune over and over.
