anyway i noticed whips prices have hit the floor at only 1.2mil when normally there 1.5mil-1.7mil my question is will it rise and when?

Unless theres a sudden hype, it won't go back up to 1.5m.

I don't think whips are going to rise. Summer has ended, people going back to school, selling off their stuff in preparation for "hibernation" of sorts in F2P. When they become members again next break, they're hoping that new weapons will be released.

 

As such, there's a large surplus of whips right now.

Unless Jagex secretly released a new weapon that isn't listed when you click on the attack skill icon, yes.

My advice is to buy as many whips as you can while they're cheap, because they are going to skyrocket in a few months. When the new pking worlds come out, people will be buying high lvl equipment like mad and all the prices are going up. This goes for anything that involves pking, like food, pots, runes, arrows. Just a guess though, so don't blame me if it doesn't happen.

The max price it will get to is probably 1.45m. I will never go higher unless Jagex implements something new into the game that damages the use of other weapons better than it, which would make the whip a more efficient weapon.

Apart from the horrible special attack, it's the best all-round melee weapon available, being with only a bunch of special conditions, it remains the most efficient weapon in-game. Since it is one-handed, fairly cheap and so accurate and strong for its speed it lands on #1 best universal weapon you'll find.

Whips will disappear quicker than the labor can supply and demand will rise quickly. I can almost guarantee that whips will go above 2.8 mil in the first month of pking.

One of the best combinations IS Whip + Defender - I still don't see why Whip is so low priced, but is one of the best weapons in the game? Yea.. all these godswords and such, but there all 2handed.

 

By far, Whip is thebest 'single-handed' weapon. Period.

The price is so low because of the fact that there are a TON in circulation.

I can't see them going up to much over 1.3 - but i bought 20 when they were at their lowest (under 1.1m!)

 

So i'm predicting a 2mil profit at least by the time the new pvp thing comes out.

 

If they don't [bleep]e, i can't see them going lower than 1.1m again any time soon.

I'd put down money on them going under 1m before rising.

whip prices won't be rising much that i can guarantee you...there is a LARGE number of whips in the game already so even if demand rose by like 100 more whips demanded each day the proportion of this rise to the total number of whips circulating in RS will only be of a fraction so even if it rises...it won't rise much and DEFINITELY not to 2.8M in the first week GAH! people will be dumping their whips for the new level 70 gear that is going to come out with pking...whips might even cease to be the best 1-handed weapon anymore with the introduction of rewards from pking and then...whips will be what d-scims are now although probably not that bad till it drops below 500k but who knows...all depends on the stats of the new weapons ;) (which will definitely be better than the whip trust me or rather trust jagex)

Lol when I started whips were 5mil+ I brought my first one for 3.2mil.

 

 

 

They continually fluctuate between 1.2-1.5mil atm. I doubt they will rise much more.

Most people won't PK with whips. They will 3 item with a DDS.

 

 

 

All the people who do train with whips will use a non-PK World.
