The Wraith cause people to fight one another

One thing I can say, however, is that even a small team can hold off most crashers. Me (80 attack 80 strength) and one of my friends (82 attack 90 strength) bring halberds and longsword/kiteshields with us. We do this because if we get crashed, all we have to do is both pot and we can easily still get the kill. We, as level 112 and 114, have held off level 134+s with Ice Titans on their side. It's all in teamwork.

It's just one of the methods that JaGeX uses to prevent people from getting too much of an item. It happens in a lot of MMOs. The alternative is to create instanced dungeons that require a lot of food and time to go through and fight the boss, which would then only have a chance of dropping it, and that's simply not how RS works.

Can be looted to obtain a variable item and reobtain the imp jar. If you are insane, it can instead be exchanged for impling jars from Elnock Inquisitor.

Wow, from the title, I thought you meant it could literally cause players to fight each other.

Anyway, this monster hardly seems worthy of being called a boss. It sounds a lot more like a demiboss (is there such a term?) like Salarin the Twisted, (and, incidentally, he can be killed with Ancient Magicks too...) that requires a special method.

It shouldn't have been given Holy Elixirs to drop in the first place; this takes away from the real boss's drops, and causes precisely this problem! However, a large drop rate of Blue Charms sounds like a perfect incentive, as those are always valuable.

As far as restrictions go, 80-85 Prayer (to enter or to be able to use Prayer there) sounds like a good one. I'd guess that most people with maxed melee stats don't even have 75+ Prayer, and if you would object to this, you probably don't either.

Conclusion: if this wasn't here you couldn't complain about it (that's really the bottom line in all updates...).

Every man for himself.

The wraith is easy enough to keep away crashers but it usually means using extra pray and knives make it easy to crash, so i like the idea said above about him having a more powerful attack if you stood further away, but wouldnt that just make them pray melee and get close again?
