runesmithie
My mom has just given the OK for me to get the materials and to build a Charcoal Foundry!! Smelting in real life basically XD (AFAIK the size I'm planning on only goes up to 7-800 degrees C, enough for Zinc and Aluminum ) I just posted something! ^_^ to the terrorist...er... kirbybeam. X_Awesome_X
It's actually not that hard my dad built one out of this kinda ceramic stuff i think it wasn't very big but you could melt low melting point metals like aluminum with just using a propane torch. Pete_the_Viscous
Do be careful if you're going to do aluminium: I seem to remember that it can explode when you heat/melt it. I'd read up about that before you go doing anything with aluminium. What I suggest you start with is lead, as it also has a very low melting point, and is far less dangerous--even if it is poisonous; you're not exactly going to be drinking it, are you? deviantart account
