saber1212
We definetely need a smithing guild. Few of us are loyal smithers, and until we reach 99 smithing, all we get out of it is satisfaction. I really want a smithing guild even if it is empty just for more self satisfaction WHO AGREES!!!

deletergod
What exactly would a smithing guild have? Anvils? Varrock has those closer to a bank than any guild could. Furnaces? Al Kharid has those closer to a bank than any guild could. Furnaces AND anvils? I hope you can figure out why that's not going to happen. A smithing guild would be pointless. jafnn
Yeah I think there should be one but it should be high lvl like 70 or something, and it doesn't need to be much just an anvil and a table whit a hammer and a dwarfen stout on it. f2p skilltotal 1050+
Guest GuthAlak
Um...has anyone forgotten Doric's anvils? As in, the ones just north of Fallador? And as I recall, there's a furnace in Fallador, about as far from the east bank as the furnace in Al Kharid is from the Al Kharid bank. The Rimmington mines are about as far from the east Fallador bank as the cleft digsite is from the Al Kharid bank, and Doric's anvils are closer to the Fallador furnace than any other combination of anvils and furnaces in the whole of the f2p world. (I don't know about the p2p world, I've never been there  ) Furthermore, for anybody who likes anything better than iron (like myself) there's a whole slew of coal rocks in the Dwarven mines, which have an entrance just east of Fallador. I know there's some mithril rocks in there, too, and I think some adamantite, but I've never looked for it. If you don't like to fight king scorpions for your coal, there's a few rocks in the Barbarian village. So really, the problem isn't that there isn't a smithing guild with a furnace and anvil(s), the problem is that people are too lazy to use what they've got, so they whine and cry for a new place that makes it easier to level up. stophor
smithing guild could contain 6 coal rocks 3 iron a bank a furnace and a few anvils of course members only Like he said. It would contain a good amount of coal rocks that would be roughly double the amount of iron rocks there. It would also have a furnace/anvils and of course a bank to top it all off. Smokie
yep, very pointless :P although some recognition might be nice ;) Yeah someone made a post earlier about golden pickaxes/golden hammers for people with like 99 mining/smithing, so I think that'd be a little better of an idea. No offense, though. Every skill oughta have a guild :P

johnnyboy269
we kinda do have a smithing guild--kinda...and its p2p  ...i introduce to u THE BLAST FURNACE even though its not very efficient. The mining guild could use an update (the whole damn skill could use an update) and some smithing possibilities would perfectly fit there. You need 60 or higher to smith in that little area. It's efficient...sort of. It's the closest Anivl+Furnace, but it's sort of far from a bank. And, it only takes half the coal to smelt. But then most of the guilds are far from banks...The Blast Furnace is a good enough Smithing Guild for me (Even though I don't have 60 smithing). Bauke
Just make the armour out of the bars you make and high alc it. No need for a bank. But I don't think it works that great. I'll stick to smithing the old fashioned way. Twitter ||| Google+ ||| Facebook ||| LinkedIn ||| My very interesting weblog about science

sligo
I hereby declare that the house across the street from the west Varrock bank is the smithing guild! You must have a smithing skill of at least 78 to enter (that's my skill level, by the way). In this smithing guild, only the most dedicated smithers may enter and use the anvils, and the fact that it is conveniently near a bank makes it all that much better. So.. all you noobs with a lower smithing skill than me, STAY OUT!. Stay out I say! We at the smithing guild are too poor to afford a lock on the door and an NPC to guard it and keep the you noobs out. However, we are honest folks and we know that only those who are honest about their craft will enter. It's a an honor system, you see. Ok? Problem solved. - Sligo I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but, I am not sure you realize tht what you heard is not what I meant. the_trinity_11
Smithing guild would be quiet helpful for peoples smithing needs. Although if Jagex uses a suggestion like this could you please provide images maybe? Or a bit more detail like where the guild would be located, what's in it and stuff like that. \ PLAY this awesome game...Clicky
