SunMicro
I agree if they make a Smithing Guild and only Level 45 smithers should go there and start going there.

TotalTalker
I agree that there should be a smithing guild, but i do not think that it should be members-only. One of my main runescape dreams is to get 99 smthing, and i wouldnt get bored if i got it, lol. I wouldnt know what jagex would do for mini-games if they created the smithing guild though. But who knows, they could be making the smiting guild as we speak at this very moment..... :ohnoes:
andopolis
I rekon that if they built a smithing guild, they should put it south of the mining guild, past the scorpions, near the room where you get a map piece. (that way, it's far enough away not to have a serious impact on the skill, for those training in the mining guild.) It should have a pair of furnaces, and a bunch of anvils. There should be a hammer respawn, dwarven stout spawn, a couple of NPC's (buying/selling ores and buying/selling armour) and maybe a coal ore spawn. Also, maybe if there was a minigame, like Whack-A-Rat, to train up you hammer skills a bit and win some ores/bars :D

dsavi
We need a smithing guild. it would lower the prices of armour, and it would be a more challenging skill to get on the hiscores.

the_trinity_11
I'd enjoy a smithing guild...But there's a furnace like 10 steps away from a bank in port platimus or something like that...? It's where all the ghosts are and you do ectofungus, i think it's called port platimus, i forget really....Been a while since membership. So just smith your bars there, bank them. Teleport to varrock, go to the west bank take out 27 bars and a hammer walk about 10 steps south to the anvils, and there you go. Easier then any smithing guide can do #-o Hope that helps, the_trinity_11 (RSN: Cool_Ice77) PLAY this awesome game...Clicky
starsteller
We definetely need a smithing guild. Few of us are loyal smithers, and until we reach 99 smithing, all we get out of it is satisfaction. I really want a smithing guild even if it is empty just for more self satisfaction WHO AGREES!!! Isn't there already one? Blast furnace? Thank the world for spell checkers.

Ts_Stormrage
Not so much an actual smithing GUILD, but how about this. It requires level 60 to use the Mining Guild, Level 60 to use the Blast Furnace. We all know about the Mining Cart system. So how about a P2P quest that makes a direct line between the Mining Guild and the Blast Furnace at the spot where the little dwarf rides in with his ores. A requirement for this quest would be ofcourse 60 smithing and 60 mining. It would also involve doing a huge favor for the barkeeper just outside the Blast Furnace. In return they will from that point on also sell Mature Dwarven Stout (at like, 100gp a drink). The favor could be to brew a few kegs (from Calquat tree, requires 72 farming) of Mature Stout (Trouble Brewing Minigame for 'the stuff'). During your help on the new railroad you also stumble upon a second chamber of the Mining Guild, with some Adamant and Mithril rocks, which you can use upon quest completion. So in the end it would require a lot, but finally something that the higher level smithers can use.
