Killing the same monster all the time is more boring than educational television. Slayer provides a relief from that.

Actually the "Killing the same monster all the time"

Is what you do in slayer.

Yes, lvl 68 in it.

You do get some differences between tasks, but for the most part you kill a a few hundred or close to a hundred of one monster.

And training without slayer you do the same monster thousands of times over.

OH S***! He/she/it is back!

In God Wars, you go solely for money.

At power-leveling, you go solely for xp.

And you go to certain minigames solely for fun.

Slayer is the combo of all those factors.

Now here's the proof -

At Chaos Tunnels Dagannoths, for a number of 170 dagannoths, you make 40k melee xp/30 mins (not counting piety or the xp will be higher) + 20k (rounded up) Hp xp + 14k Slayer xp + 18k Summoning xp, which comes upto a grand total of 92k xp in 30 minutes. You make a profit of 150k+

At Powerleveling, you get 40k xp for 30 mins and another 20k Hp xp which comes upto 60k total xp. You don't make money and at some methods you even lose money. No summoning xp.

Thanks..

But you must balance it out. The money you made at GWD could get you

Money to burst/barrage at lobs

Better weapon,armour

Better lvls(prayer, magic, etc)

And thus train better. With slayer, it is more rounded. With slayer points, you can make some money, and get some charms, and get EXP, but its not the most efficient way.

slayer is one of the most amazing skills tbh...provides the variety in training combat...you saying that slayer is not good anymore is on the assumption that people use slayer to make money...while it may not be that good a money maker anymore i have never viewed it as a money maker before...to make money i use barrows (long time ago), dk, gwd and CB. money i earn from slayer is a drop in the ocean lol...unless i get lucky with visage, drag legs etc.

maxed out melee on 10/10/08, current goal: 94/99 cooking

life may be unfair, but why can't it be unfair in my favor?

my fake plant died because i forgot to pretend to water it
