EdgedThesis
I was just introduced to this game by a friend. I looked at the trailer (http://www.gametrailers.com/player/36249.html), and seriously just fell in love. It is a first-person game revolving around parkour! Unlike in Assassin's Creed, you can truly be immersed in flying high and swinging from ledges and poles. The combat seems ridiculous as well. All the controls are apparently context based, so I'm guessing the actions will vary wildly, meaning the game will probably never get old. Everything sounds and looks good, but, I don't know anything about the story, which I believe is pivotal to any game. Any information about that would help. Anyway, discuss the game and any knowledge you have on it! But I don't want to go among mad people!Oh, you can't help that. We're all mad here..." Lenin64
I think the story has something to do with running messages between rebel strongholds or something. Nonetheless, I've been sort of looking forward to it, but the action, movement, etc. in that trailer seemed to be slower than one would think given the nature of the game. I also can't say I'm loving the whole "japanese girl as the protagonist". Reminds me of JRPGs I guess. Command the Murderous Chalices! Drink ye harpooners! drink and swear, ye men that man the deathful whaleboat's bow- Death to Moby Dick!BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD! SKULLS FOR THE SKULL THRONE! EdgedThesis
EDIT: Whoops, looks like I misunderstood you. Meh, anyway: I'm liking the protagonist as well. The closest game I can think of like this is The Chronicles of Rid[bleep], which I loved. Didn't have as much parkour, but it was a first person game that where you did so many things besides shooting. It was great playing as the ridiculously strong, gruff, brutally intelligent male character. I'm hoping it'd be as equally gripping to be put in the shoes of an elegant and graceful female character. I will have to hear more about the story. Sig by IkuraiYour Guide to Posting! Behave or I will send my Moose mounted Beaver launchers at you! aquariusman
I saw the demo of it from E3, and it definitely sparked my interest. I think that it is a very unique way about going about things. It's really more the simplicity of the controls, but the complexity of the game mechanics that intrigue me. You use what, all of 1 button and a control stick? There's no such thing as regret. A regret means you are unhappy with the person you are now,and if you're unhappy with the person you are, you change yourself. Thatregret will no longer be a regret, because it will help to form the new, better you. So really, a regret isn't a regret. It's experience. No, not at all, in fact I don't think a male protagonist could work for this game. Command the Murderous Chalices! AndyPandy
Also, for all PS3 users, good news! This game is being developed on PS3, so it should be able to make use of all those processors and such. So don't let anyone tell you you're not worth the earth, These streets are your streets, this turf is your turf, Don't let anyone tell you that you've got to give in, Cos you can make a difference, you can change everything, Just let your dreams be your pilot, your imagination your fuel, Tear up the book and write your own damn rules, Use all that heart, hope and soul that you've got, And the love and the rage that you feel in your gut, And realise that the other world that you're always looking for, Lies right here in front of us, just outside this door, And it's up to you to go out there and paint the canvas, After all, you were put on the earth to do this, So shine your light so bright that all can see, Take pride in being whoever the [bleep] you want to be. krisc6
The main character is going to become a gaming icon, you're gonna get a character girl gamers can dress up as at halloween and just the art style of it is so original. Its like playing in the sky boxes of wipeout without all the neon. krisc6
I heard the game is fantastic but every reviewer has said that the story is absolutley terrible.6 hours which is for a game in whivh youre trying to get from point a to b in the most daring and quick way possible and theres replayability trying to shave off seconds from a time. Im going to rent it.
Kiriyama
Looks to be a promising game from the demo. However the camera can be a [bleep] at times. Denizen of Darkness| PSN= sworddude198
Dracion1
Looks good, I just hope the PC version follows the console versions soonish. "In the beginning, the universe was created. Then add in Time Trials, and taking longer routes+ maybe another playthrough, taking long routes...I'd say a good 20-30 hours. http://i612.photobucket.com/albums/tt206/samtheninja/Tags/FEARLESStag.jpg http://i787.photobucket.com/albums/yy156/song4thedeaf/stuff.png what i'm doing now: https://linktr.ee/student1
Lenin64
I don't know about 12. I got it yesterday and I'm already on Chapter 8 (I think there's only 8, maybe 9). Surely not 12 hours. Dead Space, that was 12 hours, and that took me a little over a week I think. It is a good game, though. Command the Murderous Chalices! Lenin64
Single complaint. I'm at what i believe is the very end of the game, the final cutscene is in sight...and suddenly it becomes mostly combat-oriented. And with no way to get through without using a gun (which I'm trying to avoid), none that I can find. It becomes a little combat-heavy arouns Ch. 8, where at the end there is almost no way to win without fighting, the place is just too narrow, and near the beginning (and at the end) of Ch. 9. This is a mistake I was hoping the game would avoid....besides this, the game is great. And I may have made a mistake purchasing it, renting would have definitely been better. Maybe I can trade it in for something else.... Command the Murderous Chalices! AndyPandy
I don't have it, but there are trophies/in-game achievements (I believe) for completing the game with no kills, so there must be a way through.
