i heard that f2p is bout to get new weapons and armor and u gotta be 70 def and 70attk to use them is this true? and also say any information you got on the weapons/armor ( i think its the wildi pk reward?)

Nope, I've haven't heard about any new weapons, especially for F2P.

Doubted. Most of the PvP'ers would be 1 def pkers and tanks, majority wouldnt have much def so jagex would rather pull something out of their [wagon] like another overpowered weapon that hits too fast and has 2 specs and 4 spec uses.

Jagex did say that there will be armour as rewards from PvP worlds. So, you never know. ;)

There is a possiblity that there is going to be new F2P Weapons and Armour, but I highly doubt that they are going to have too high Requirements (Such as 70). What you have heard is a made up rumor.

Jagex said you will can make money with the new PvP so it would be nonsense if the new equipment will be untradeable.

it is possible for when the new pvp worlds come out :)

highly doubt that the new equipment for f2p (IF there will be new equipment at all) will have level 70 requirements...rather weird to jump from 40 to 70 in one go :roll:

 

 

 

besides lots of members won't be happy that the PvP update does not benefit them more...

Davidium is right. Jumping from 40 to 70 is a bit odd. I think who ever told you about this is was smoking up at that time.

It's HIGHLY unlikely that f2p will receive armor with better defense bonuses than rune. If anything, it'll have a better str or attack bonus than rune, and less defense. This would help solve the problem of f2p weapons hitting so low.

Jagex never mentioned that the new PvP armour would degrade over time.

 

 

 

These drop tables will include "PvP world specific" items like XP-modifying gear, lvl 70+ equipment and new, glorious, short-term but hard hitting gear. These will once again make PKing a viable source of income.

you may be right but profitable dosnt always mean armor drop...it would more likely for f2p noted ores,runes, or gp

well i think if they do drop weapons in the new pvp

 

 

 

they would have a selective drop for f2p and a selective drop for p2p

 

if they are planning to give f2p and p2p new armor then more likely the f2p drop will be a weaker version and the p2p is a stronger version, for example the fog mage gears

 

 

 

so there might be a chance that there will be a lvl 50 armor for f2p and a lvl 75+ for p2p?

I doubt they'd release high-level armour for F2P soon.

 

Maybe level 50 armour or so (slightly better than rune)
