No idea how this happened, I've been using Chrome, so it might be a bug, THAT, or tip.It has found a new idol:

Closing Chrome & re-opening doesn't fix it, new tabs have the same image...so is this Tip.It or just me, seeing as no one else has seemed to post such a thing...lol.

 

 

 

I don't know if this is cool or annoying though, or if I'm totally missing something.

Scan for spyware/malware... It looks like something got through a hole in Google Chrome. :geek:

Seeing 'Mr. T' all over one of our most favorite forums on the web is a downright disgrace to these forums. That, and I think Skatedog might be having a hard time reading some of the heading text, which isn't great when a person is trying to do stuff. Further, I'm not seeing this behavior here with FF 2.x-series, so I know the problem is isolated to Skatedog's computer, which means something has gotten on there that should never have. :ugeek:

I don't think it's spyware, but I've ran the normal stuff and nothing has come up. Checked everything I've downloaded, and nothing so far either.

 

 

 

But I think it's a bug in Chrome, as on another forum, the heading images for boards or whatever has been replaced with an image of myself that I was looking at while I had the other tab open. So now I have Mr. T and my sexy self to look at all day long. 8-)

 

 

 

If anyone knows fix for it, as a google search for once is doing me no good.

@Skatedog111 - Most likely it's a bug in the browser. Browsed these forums on FF/Opera/IE/Safari... Never seen that. Clearing your webhistory is my only other advice.

Just because I was interested, I cleared my cache for the second time, and then it worked. Don't know why it didn't work the first time...Oh well, it worked, and Mr. T is gone. :thumbsup:

That's kinda odd... Why only have to clear cache twice to fix? Unless, it somehow had been in a page that was open... To which it would then cause the cache to not clear it on principle of rendering a page that happened to be up. Although, wouldn't that mean there is a serious cross-domain scripting hole in Chrome??? :-k

As for the main topic, cool down a bit... Please keep in mind that when Skatedog's problem first began, I was thinking it was far worse problems. I could be overthinking it, but for all we know, this could reappear. To be honest, it is better to prepare for the worst, even if we hope for the best. (I'd be glad if the problem didn't reappear, anyway!) : ... And yes, I know, I'm usually "Mr. Doomsday"... But if someone wasn't, who knows how bad on luck we'd all be?!?!?
