how much do you think they would sell for?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

(i dont want them as tradeable im just asking how much do you think a charm is worth....)

Gold, probably below 1k each

 

Green, around 1k

 

Crimson, 1-5k

 

Blue, 25k

 

 

 

;) This is just an estimate, and how I value them, however, it would kill the RS ecomony if they became tradable lol

when i have an abberant spectres task i get like 10 blues per hour,so that would mean 250k worth of charms extra? :shock:

 

 

 

alot of people would go hunt them and they would fall so hard,id value them around 4k ea.

Isn't that like saying "what if bunny ears/scythes/yoyos/a night with Andrew" was tradeable? Tradeable charms would be the worst thing to happen to summoning and they are untradeable for a reason.

At 2k per blue you could do 89-99 summon with the best possible pouches (=most xp and 2nds that actually can be gotten) would take around 4 hours and cost around 23-24m (includes 2nds, I assume you'd have enough shards from swapping the previouc pouches) gp. After doing the pouches you could alch them, swap for shards or sell and make the losses to around 10-15m.

 

 

 

I don't know about you but in my eyes that's just not how it should be:

If charms for some odd reason were tradeable, they would be at least 3-5 times more expensive than you stated. I base my opinion on the fact that for lesser cost it would be cheaper and faster than prayer, yet more helping at higher levels.

Gold... probably 400 gp-2K area

 

Green... Probably around 1-5K

 

Crimson... Probably around 5-10K

 

Blue... Probably around 20-30K

 

 

 

Yes, I know I said some insane prices, but that is what I honestly think!

 

Please don't do this JaGex PL0x...

 

It would make summoning THE fastest skill to get to 99 if you had all the cash for it

Exactly. This would fully kill the diy-attitude in summoning: it would be useless to spend even hundreds of millions on runes when you can get the charms faster and cheaper. I'm quite sure that there wouldn't be enough supply for crims and blues to find an equilibrium from those prices listed above. I place this assumption on the fact that they would mainly be passively collected: doing active waterfiends wouldn't give you a good gp:time:efford ratio and bursting is totally out of question. This lefts us with opinions like slayer.

 

 

 

And secondaries would shoot up.

 

 

 

I'd say there would first be a nice jump in prices and they'd come down to the point where they were ~20% more than now. The way how secondaries are being used, the biggest jump would happen in materials that are already produced in masses (yak hides, plates, etc) or in materials that won't be needed for a huge number of xp.
