but I wnna sell it for full price, but I have no junk (awww)

 

 

 

what are soem methods of getting 12+m junk?

making junk these days is very hard/inneficient to get actually more money in junk then you could getting real money. except when granite was at like 8k lol

Doing junk trades or playing RS for years are the only effective ways of getting junk. If you don't need it to sell wait for it to rise in price. Otherwise sell it at max in Ge - money is money.

It's only a 25% profit - you receive 125% of the money you spend on it. Not worth the time.

Fletching does not lose money. Maple logs cost ~40gp. Maple Longbow (u) costs ~140gp. So all you have to do is buy some maple logs, make them into unfinished maple longs, and voila! You now have "junk" that is worth more than what you paid to get it.

 

 

 

Ex. You spend 40mil on maple logs, fletch them all into maple long (u), and now you have 140mil worth of junk. Congratulations! You just made 100mil "profit" (now all you gotta do is get rid of it all)

Very true. But I think that some people just can't get past the fact that they can sell something worth (5mil on the GE) for over twice that with junk. They just want to see that 12mil or whatever on their inv. screen otherwise they feel they are getting screwed over by the GE price.

You are so right. These are the same people that fail simple math. Time=Money. The whole junk thing is silly, unless you already have it banked.

2. The patience and willingness to train a skill.

 

 

 

For example if I got lucky and had an item I could beef up with junk then I would find a method to train one of my skills to generate junk. For example the fletching of maple logs. In this case you get free fletching XP and cash, for an otherwise non-profitable training method.

 

 

 

Otherwise you may as well sell for max in GE.

Yeah, if I ever happen to obtain a full set of 3rd Age from clue scrolls I'll probably train fletching to 99 just for kicks while making tons of maple long (u) but other than that it's not worth it.

leave it in your bank and do slayer till you have enough fire runes for full price..
