October 23, 200817 yr If the majority of feedback is negative, than, yes, Jagex DID do something wrong. The reason the majority of feedback is negative is because the whiners just want to complain. Those who are actually enjoying the update are not wasting their time posting on the RSOF. Therefore, only the bad things are being seen. I'm 100% free-to-play!!! Message me, private chat is always on. :)
October 23, 200817 yr If the majority of feedback is negative, than, yes, Jagex DID do something wrong. The thing that matters about this update is not how you or skillers feel, but how those who enjoy PvP feel. Furthermore, if this continues, the supplies that bounced back up will plummet once more, hurting the economy. The majority of the feedback is not negative. The positive feedback far outweighs the negative. Sure, Rants may have 100+ people on it, but the pvp worlds have several thousand on at any given time. People enjoying the pvp worlds.
October 23, 200817 yr i personally wanna see these riots. It'll give me a good laugh. : but comon, there trying aren't they? they could just simply say: "there are to many complaints with PVP so we've invented a new mini-game involving cute bunnys, we like to call it: Feeding The Carrots" :wall: im personally going to F2P for few months after my membership just to draw out time and see where the next few updates will take us. Popoto.~<3
October 23, 200817 yr I wish i was surprised to be honest, -.- This update was never going to appeal to all the "hardcore, oldschool, honourbound" pkers, its to different to the old wildy (of course its meant to be, but some people cant quite grasp that) I think its a postive step though really, people asked for something back and well they got it, shows jagex do actually pay attention to their customers. Theres a fine line between not listening and not caring,I like to think I walk this line every day. Pinning blame on Jagex is like trying to put pants on an old man. You both know he needs them, but he'll just keep dancing around, avoiding them at all costs.
October 23, 200817 yr Most of the people on the RSOF should be Banned from the internet. :| CLICK THE IMAGE TO GO TRY SHARK ATTACK DANGIT.
October 23, 200817 yr If I was Jagex, I would honestly commit suicide. They listen to the players' request of a PVP system, they spend hours and work thier [wagon] off trying to please the crowd. I would disable runescape for 1 day just to see the panic attacks that this would cause. We requested a way to slow down/stop RWT and Jagex listend. They might have overdone it a little, but it was for the best. GIve the PVP worlds a couple more weeks and see if Jagex doesn't update them to give a better reward. October 24, 200817 yr Didn't Jagex say they're working on fixing the drop problem? I remember reading it somewhere... But how many of these idiots know how to read thing written in proper English? so i herd u liek devarts? If you look at me and feel offended by my 666-ism,think.I could be just as offended by your "cross".[hide=This's why I'm hot]The Eleventh Commandment:Thou Shalst only say "Amen, brother".Amen, brother :lol:Amen, brudda (referring to the 10th commandment)amen Bruder! (german ftw)I'm invulnerable to everything, except Lenin and Dragoonson. That's impossible. I love people.[/hide]
October 24, 200817 yr the thing is that pvp is good its just how the drops work. in f2p it simply doesnt make enough profit. not even to just replace the lobbs u ate during battle. there should be or i am expecting an update on the drop fix.
October 24, 200817 yr I get a lot of my friends complaining that they don't get any drops. I have as of yet to even enter a PVP world because I don't pk. I understand the frustration, and I do believe that Jagex need to tweak a few things, but the majority of people in the forums, don't even understand the concept of more risk, time out there without dying, kills beforehand. They expect to kill some random and get millions. Not going to happen. I wish people would stop whining. And if all the people who are whining and saying, I'm quitting, actually quit, I for one will be happier.
October 24, 200817 yr Obviously you've never pked, on f2p when they run into the bank it's virtually impossible to kill them, and don't expect a pure to 'go to the wildy to pk', that would defeat the purpose of having a low combat. And don't say something like, 'den raize defenz lol den joo wil soorvyve in teh wildy', if I wanted to do that, I would go on my main.

You want a high lvl drop for a LOW level character. Even if your pure is lvl 80 range, I dare say that my 76 range and 86 defense character is more powerful. Despite what Gower says how he "doesn't mind" that players make pures instead of well-rounded characters, the part of the formula that says "must stay outside of safe spots" to get a better drop hints that he favors "mains" more than pures. In conclusion: Andrew G. doesn't hate pures; he just likes well-rounded players more  Also, the "you limit yourself" argument still applies here.

Why would he have put it in the game if nobody would use it. Of course you're going to get negative feedback if you look in a section that attracts negative feedback like flies to... I painted some stuff and put it on tumblr
October 25, 200817 yr When people rant, I'm pretty sure its a good reason. Seriously though, have you ever gone on a pvp world on f2p? Its hopeless, there might as well not even be PVP in the towns because all people do is fight you, waste both parties food, before running to a bank and laughing. Not only that, jagex has already stated that the drops WILL NOT be as good as the items your enemys drop, and this is a bad thing. Yes PVP isn't really a money making thing, but i remember the old wildy and bounty hunter, and you sorta feel pretty good when you PK someone with full rune, and oh mercy, actually get full rune. The thing is, although its a good idea, it's so far been poorly made. There is no way to solo kill unless your in the wilderness, and chances are. on the way to the wilderness your gonna be attacked by some person who will waste your food and run you back to the bank. Should you get to the wilderness, and get a kill, before being killed. You'll generally be disappointed at the drop when you compare it to what you killed. Summing it up, its way to easy to escape unless your in the wildy. The drops are bad (yes the drops are bad, it may be random but the drops still #$%&) and all round, it really just makes your stress levels skyrocket.
October 26, 200817 yr wow, both the stupidity of them posts and you bothering to track them reminds me why I stopped playing rs :)
