October 22, 200817 yr Jagex is not making anyone happy apparently. New PvP has brought the rants to a boiling point once again, with people complaining how PvP is different from previously, and they complain that there are no profits to be gained... This is stupid. Jagex hatemail is coming from people with no concept of why the wild was taken out in the first place. Please take a look at some random comments, and topics from the RSOF. Okay so as you know now, PVP is out! Awesome right? Bull. I started fighting, I killed them they had a rune scimmy, d hide and food, I KO'd them, and all I got is 6 pike...Is that worth PVP!? And people who come out of banks you attack them, and almost kill them, oh and look at that, safe again!? Just like bounty hunter cave entrances...It fails, seriously...Jagex, I was looking forward to this, it's to easy to run away, the drops áre stopping RWT, but also stopping the profits! It's lame already, in the first 30 mins... This is just the first paragraph, and this man already establishes himself as stupid. First of all, you get 6 pike because it is random, just like a monster. I fought a fire giant and expected to get a dragon scimmy, but nope...also, lets take a look at the whole running into safe zones part. The person has to not attack someone for ten seconds in order to stay safe...which means you could easily kill someone. While I do agree that sometimes, it becomes a problem, its not something that can't be easily fixed. Also, he mentions PvP profits. Did anyone do it for the money? Seriously, last time I remember talking to my buddy about PvP he said he only did it for experience, and that money was hard to come by in PvP in the first place. Also, you need to have 25k worth of stuff on you to get anything worthwhile, which is a good rule in my opinion, because that means riskers get something in return for risking their stuff. I'm really sorry Jagex, but I was really looking forward to this, for my pure to PK some good loot, but really, PIKE!? For a rune scimmy...is just not worth even fighting, I know it's early, but it's true, and the combat lvls...what the hell is with the colours on it, it's so stupid.. I like the idea for the levels you can fight, but thats about it...really... This is the first time I have ever heard anyone complain about the colors...and also, once again, I never remember anyone getting much money off of PKing, ask any good Pker, and they will tell you it was not that profitable. Also I'm sick of getting flames saying "KILL MORE OR RISK MORE" you don't think i've done that!? And you know what i found out, it means nothing!...A little bit I suppose, but you know what, i've killed plenty of boxers f2p (Boxer = NO items.) And you know what I got, bloody addy stuff, I mean thanks, but seriously!?.. At first he complains about not enough money, now he gets money off of people with nothing. Well, let me talk about my beef with PvP. I like the general idea, and it works all right, but I have been PKing for a couple days in Lumbridge, where there is a huge crowd, mostly because it is right near the respawn, and is a safe spot. I fought here for quite a while. Some people would run when they are low on health, which is pretty dumb. Accept death, or don't PK. Also, the level system (where you can only fight between so and so levels) works fine, minus the fact that a lot of people tend to go for the lower levels, which leads to some annoying runs. I usually only bring my cheap armor, instead of my good stuff, and tend to fight people around my level, or lower level challengers, but sometimes, it just leads to these higher levels coming and hitting me twenty... The loot is allright, and I do think its fun in lumbridge because people come back to fight you again, and I can just keep killing them over and over again. Anyways, I want to show you some more rants about PKing: I agree! This *****SSSSS! I've been 1 for 2 hoursat once, and I killed no1, whenever I got some1 down to almost dead they flee inside a bank or a guild or something It feels like everywhere is safe -.- Its not Player Killing, its just Player Attacking I think pvp loot fails too. I killed someone with full rune and he was also skulled, what i got was 5 swordfish, 1 strength potion(4), power ammulet and adamant full helm...Are you kiddin me!??!!?I did all that hard work fighting someone with full rune for erm...letz say 6k!?!? worst update scince removing wildy...actully fark that its worse im quitting rs because of it.............. yeah i got that too killed someone with rune scim and get like iron scim and tuna!!!what if you pk ahrims and some other stuff you get like 100k???!!! gf rs epic fail! get rid of it, give us our homeworlds back This new pvp is a load of ..... its complety worthless u dont gain money doing this you just lose money from food. on my noob killed couple full ady guys with skull that must be atleast 3k but it jsut gives me 20 fire runes and 4 slices of cakes...were the profet in that.. this new pvp is load of rubbish 90% of reason been playing rs is for this pvp but its load of bull. jagex have yet again ruined runescape, i even thought it coundnt get any worse but i see i was wrong. therefor im thinking of quiting since it know is usless.. jagex has killed runescape more people are going to quit runescape, they only wanted to wait for runescape PVP to come out, they are going to lose over 5000 suscribers at minimum. The reason most Pkers have been playing is to wait for new PVP and their are already riots going on about it. i dont know what the hell real world trades about tbh, if they sold runescape money their selfs then they wouldnt have had to taken our old wildy! FAILEDSCAPE RUINEDSCAPE ftl And after he wrote another post containing so much cussing, Jagex removed it, gave him two posts full of rules, and then this was this idiots reply: idc if u hidden it? u still fail already half of my friends list have quit already yeah pvp fails epicly ok i was gogin to recharge pray had 0 forgot i had whip on me..was walking to monk place..ok barragers i ko3d him he had full ahrim mage book and whip with skull i get boens..recharge pray went bakc down got barraged by 2 people teaming me...mad it to bank with 0 pray..got killed with 5 secs left pvp fauils its bs..(srry about the bad grammar) In my next couple posts, I will continue to bring more pathetic rants, but I just have one, really simple question to ask...actually, I'll ask two because this is not the RSOF where inferior brains cannot comprehend what I am saying... 1. October 22, 200817 yr Author There ARE other things besides PVP but what does the economy revolve around? That's right. PVP. Herblore costs over 200m to get 99 now. Why? Because PVP was taken out of the game and potions dropped to an all time low. Now that PVP is back, even WITH the terrible drops, pots are raising again. EVERYTHING in the economy is driven by pvp. Armor prices, even rares were affected by pvp. All the skillers DEPEND on PVP to sell their stuff. If there was no pvp, whats the point of people alching? Just for the level? No, you want the level so you have an advantage. YOU NEED A GOOD PVP SYSTEM TO DRIVE THE ECONOMY! Heres a great question from me: DOES THE RS ECONOMY RUN ON PVP? Answer from me: Since it did just fine without PvP for 10 months, then I am sure it does not...

I was always envious not being able to play RSC, but now the pvp has fulfilled my wish :pray: . It also let's me hangout with some friends and clanmates while traversing the world. 2. That's a matter of opinion. People should quit for two reasons: the game is not fun and/or the game has "betrayed" you (not getting into that; your quotes basically summed it up) 3. They were doing a great job by adding the tangle vine, then a smart person just had to be stupid... :wall: 4. Of course. Pvp is now fun for me as I can now assassinate (world kill) in relative peace. And thee are plenty of things to do, like my getting Bones to Peaches (only 2000 enchant points to go! \ )

Furthermore, if this continues, the supplies that bounced back up will plummet once more, hurting the economy. If the CORPORAL beast is this hard, imagine how hard a GENERAL or COLONEL beast would be. a corporal is not even an admirable rank in armies that use that ranking system. Yeah, it is a pking minigame, so any arguments anybody makes will probably be biased.The best way this will end :Everybody just says,"I'm not arguing with you anymore, goodbye."The worst way this will end: I don't really know, psychological warfare? Worldwide thermonuclear war? Pie eating contest?

I know that Swordfish have been doing this for several days now. Doing a quick search, super potions are plummeting. Does this look like a successful update? Sure, this could be caused by high spirits abating, but, if this turns out to be unprofitable, many players will only PK occasionally, or even just go to BH where kills assure good loot. October 23, 200817 yr Didn't Jagex say they're working on fixing the drop problem? I remember reading it somewhere... And your talking about players from the RSOF. they rant about everything whether it's good or bad. Plus the update is new, you can't expect them to be 100% perfect, it's like the Summoning skill, first was crap then they fixed it and it became a favorite skill for alot of players.
