It's out of hand... these people are so desperate... it's so sad. I stood outside fallador gates and I killed 50 of them in a row before I had to bank. And what's even more sad is that the same people come back over and over and over and over... what the hell?? What has the RS community come to? Are they nothing more then zombies? It's obvious that they wern't going to kill me, yet they are so zombie like to get my items they just keep comming back and back.

 

 

 

I felt like I was in a horror movie where I had a shot gun ( aka my rune x bow ) and kept blowing their brains out over and over again yet they just kept on comming.

 

 

 

The worst part is, they lose nothing can be back in literally 5 seconds ... wtf? There needs to be a system to fix this honestly... I don't mind people 1 iteming for fun here and there but it's out of CONTROL.

But yeah i got attacked by a ddser 1itemer guy and I agree... after a while they become stalkers.

I rather like pking 1-itemers. Since loot in PvP worlds is game generated you don't have to worry that they'll jsut protect item and you won't get any drops.

 

They wear no armour so they're much easier to kill that most pkers, they don't carry food/pots/tele runes, and above all they keep coming back to fight you, which means you keep getting kills and drops!

 

The only time they get annoying is when they come back to fight you for like the 100th time (exaggeration) and yell at you for healing. I'm sorry I just had a 100 fights, I can heal if I want to. It's not like you're the one who decides the rules I should follow.

yea i hate 1 itemers .... i wish they made it so that the item protection wouldnt work at all :o :wall:

I've 1 itemed before; when your bored, it can be fun with a remote chance of a decent drop. You won't get any decent drops off 1 itemers; they are losing nothing. But with a blitz + dd++ combo, I find it fairly easy to KO players, at very little risk.

First you complain that they removed pking, now you are complaining about it. THere was one itemers in old pking and people complainined about them then. The only minor fix is to give a 2 (or more) minute death penalty. If you die you can't do anything but walk around (basically like a ghost) for 2 minutes. After the two minute period is up, you will be teleported to lumbridge. (this will help stop people from over-abusing reward system too).

And if you want more reward, try assassinating. there are some people who are foolish enough to travel long distances from a bank. Teleblock and entangle are very helpful in this circumstance.

Well it is a spawn point; you should expect some 1-iteming. But what the current level is at is ridiculous. I would've expected the 'rage' to die down in a week or so. I agree with a time limit after death, but what about a death limit? Something that reasonable pkers won't exceed, but 1-itemers would. That way, real pkers don't have to wait 2 minutes before going back in.

Well, if you put, let's say a death limit of 10 every 1 hour, that means someone can die 10 times in 6 minutes and have 54 minutes of threat free training on a pvp world, assuming that after 10 deaths you could not enter combat with a player.

 

A more refined version would be that you couldn't attack but you could BE attacked. I could just see them flocking to me, trying to attack me but then realize that their 1 iteming efforts are in vain as I raid their carcasses of mithril armor and defense potions.

heh, i 1 item all the time, i almost always get the kill. Just stand in falador with your dds and kill some guys who walk by.

 

 

 

simple strategy for people who want to win but not lose anything. Just like in FoG when people use the houses. Thats why jagex put them in there so they can be used for strategy.

Sometimes when I'm angry I 1 item with AGS. Lol.. I've even k0ed a max mager before. (Of course no 3rd age mage ammy, but ahrims, fury, m wand and the like.)
