I don't use Chatrooms, as that is what I try to stay away from, but that seems disgusting...But hey, if I want a chuckle, I will use one, and read what people say, but I doubt that will happen.

The internet was bound to be a porn heaven when the creators didn't solve the anonnymity (SP)problem. :lol:

Chat rooms these days are full of bots. All those convos you saw were probably not real.

I remember when I was like 10, my family got a free trial for AOL Online and I went into some sort of sex chat room and just spammed "I'M HORNY!!!" I think it was just for s&g, but thinking about it now, it must've been pretty weird to see "The Smith Family: I'M HORNY!!!"

 

 

 

Edit: Mirage, I have seen a lot of places filled with bots, but I've yet to see them carry on independent convos or cyber with each other.

Haha I used to do that all the time when I was younger and first got the internet.

2. Claim to be 13/f/cali

 

3. Wait for multiple private messages from older men.

 

4. Lead them on a bit.

 

5. ATTENTION CHATTERS YOU HAVE BEEN MONITORED BY THE FBI etc

 

6. lol.

I have used some of those rooms, in the dark times when I was probably not much older than 11 or 12.

 

 

 

I once called myself "Oldhornybastard" and asked if some young girls wanted to cuddle with me. Nobody seemed to like me.

 

 

 

And another time, I called myself "Luddigmannen" ("luddig" is an obscure South-Middle-Western-Norwegian word for clever) and had a private chat with some girl:

Most of the time, you get things like 'asl?' 'cam?', that kind of things.

 

Things no one actually needs to know.

 

 

 

Most of the time, it are 12 year olds who are there or some pervs (or both).

You can't enjoy a nice chat/game...

In the late 90s Yahoo had chatrooms with voice enabled.

I never used chat rooms :|

 

I found I could make friends who can put together a cognitive sentence in real life, rather then in chat rooms.

 

 

 

However, chat rooms are great to go to as a last resort of boredom, the next step being suicide.

 

Because people are so unbelievably stupid, you can laugh, and of course do the ol' trick of pretending to either be a vunerable female teenager or a child molester.
