liv_2_kill Posted November 14, 2008 Share Posted November 14, 2008 This suggestion is to mainly P2P players but i could see it working for F2P My current idea would make of a huge revamp of the cooking skill. So the main idea consists of widening the way we look at cooking! How so? Grilling, broiling, seasoning, smoking, you could even fillet your fish! :D Pros: - Would be an available update to both P2P, perhaps some F2P features added to balance the combat triangle (PvP) - Variety is always good - New anti-poisons, skills bonuses, etc... - More incentive to level your cooking skill! :o - Has the potential of becoming profitable - Keep the ideas rollin' Aight, so i'll go into a detail a little for each addition I've proposed... Any type of fish + a specific herb = seasoned fish Knife + any type of fish = fillet your fish Your house fireplace + any type of fish = smoked fish ? = broiled fish ? = grilled fish --- I placed question marks on those of which i was asked to add to the suggestion, but i have no idea how i could follow through with it! : So if you have an idea / suggestion please post it. --- What do you guys think? While F2P wouldn't see very much of it, it would create the ability for Jagex to have like special boosts/restores attached to doing food in certain manners... Obviously, they might release some minor ones for mage/range to F2P to balance things up versus melee opponents, what with the fact that Melee can hit just so [bleep] much... Sorry, but that does not work for the tons of people who can't download game clients and use them, due to parental restrictions on what they can do... :boohoo: So having a small portion of such a thing as alternate cooking methods for fish in RuneScape would be nice for f2p... Further, it would leave more than enough to entice F2P players into paying and going P2P... gogogopie Posted November 29, 2008 Share Posted November 29, 2008 For grilling and broiling, maybe when you use the item on the range, it would give you a choice of which type to make (normaly cooked, grilled, or broiled). The options would pop up in an interface over the chatbox like that of smelting ores into bars where all the options are shown. I support! Google is evil!Donut!I like pie!That is all.
