99 wc questions?

Willows to 75 and then yews to 99 was the way I got 99 wc. The problem is it took me 4 months to get from 75 to 99 (it was probably more like 2 months; I played a lot of Castle Wars and had quite a few random distractions :XD:). If you don't mind not getting that much in the way of cash, I would suggest you stick with willows until at least 85 or 90 (if not all the way to 99; I highly doubt the exp rates for yews match that of willows even at 99).

Whatever you decide, good luck.

i personally wouldnt recommend you to woodcut cause' it's such a bad money making way. i went for it cause i didnt have anything to do in f2p

If you want to chop yews, chop yews. If you want to chop willows, chop willows. If you want to chop a combination of the two, then it doesn't matter what level you switch or which one you do first.

Willows are the fastest experience in f2p, and yews are the best money in f2p. If you plan on burning your logs to get 99 firemaking, then the best way to do it is to cut willows in some remote spot like Port Sarim or Rimmington, and burn them right there.

I'd cut yews from ~80+. Just enough to fund, say, another 99.

That's just me.

Plus, I hate powertraining skills. I find it extremely useless.

"Hey John I got 99 wc!"

"How much did you make?"

"Nothing. Willows dont sell on the GE :("

"Wow man, lame"

If it was yews it'd be much different.

I dont need a siggy no moar.

I'm 80 wc and yews are still slow, especially in f2p.

Wait for 85+.

Yews are slow at 85 too. In fact, they're slow at 99. Even in members with a dragon axe at 99, they're still slow. If you're gonna chop yews, you might as well go ahead and chop them, because waiting isn't likely to make them good.

That's a good point, 5 levels won't do much. 19 levels won't do much. I've heard about mage log rates at 99 with adze/daxe, and it's terrible.

Just note that willows are hard to sell while yews are easy.

You people don't understand... Willows will always be better experience than Yews. Yews are about 25k exp/hour at best, and Willows are 40k per hour at best.

So, basically Earthysun is Jesus's only son.
