Those who whine about runescapians who use a cannon are just jealous that they don't have one.I say if you want to use a cannon then go for it just have some manners about where and when you set it up.

Just tell those newbies to DK their tasks like real men do. Cannons were made to steal Kalphite and Dagannoth tasks, so the more noobs you scare away, the better. Do it for the dwarf engineer who created this marvelous (sp?) tool.

Plus I think the whole teenage girl thing will end soon (hopefully), because my girlfriend is absolutely in love with him(she is 18), and im beginning to feel threatened by his [Justin Bieber] dashing looks.

while I agree with using cannons on tasks...

How can the cannon be made for the purpose of Kalphites and Dagannoth tasks, when the dwarf cannon came out before slayer? ;)

I tried cannons anonymous but I relapsed after 2 weeks... I made the mistake of meeting with my old user pal, Duradel, who told me to kill 157 dagganoth... The temptation was to great...

cannoning is a wonderful joy, not an addiction to be broken <3

I'm not really sure who doesn't like having a lot of cash around. I'm certainly not one of those people.

Secondly, it really isn't a bad thing to be addicted to a cannon. However, if you still don't want to be addicted anymore, I advise getting 99 slayer, then selling it.

It's true it may be much more inefficient but it's just so stupid.

Your lack of willingness to see reason and accept efficient training always surprise me. Even faced with logical situations and arguments, you always find a way to look like a total fool with unsupported arguments, childish opinions and generalisations that are often simply not true or greatly exagerated.

Calling a way of training stupid when it is a proven way to train efficiently only makes you look stupid.

Amen

Ray, just shut up if you dont know anything about it, seriously.

Runescape is why I support abortion.
ROFL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The hate for Cannon is due to the ability to literally take over a training spot no matter how many people are there.

For me, is not a matter of how long YOU are there, is the matter of how much longer THEY would be there due to your cannoning. You, essentially, is selfishly making your rate of training faster at the expense of people around you. No matter how "inefficient" you deem their methods to be, you are slowing them down and frustrating their enjoyment. And if you look at it another way, IF they already have a cannon there, you would certainly world hop away as it is pointless to fight over it, so why don't you use the same attitude to those without it?

True, finding an empty Dags world is sometimes like finding a needle in a haystack. But don't use that sole fact as justification that you don't actually need go and try find one. After all, if you can reduce something that may take an hour to 15-20 minutes, why is it a problem to spend a couple of minutes to look try several worlds and look for an empty or relatively empty one, as opposed to walk in to an already filled-to-the-brim world that some cannon users do.

But for other tasks, is sheer laziness to just walk in with a cannon and set one up there without even bother searching for a new world if there is a person already there.

Of course though, you have no need to pay heed to anyone if someone who arrives later. You claimed the spot, hence they should leave if they don't like you here.

In runescape you can afford it to be incredibely selfish. And I find your Dag example bad, cause that's one of the few spots that's actually still decent for other people if someone is cannoning. Kalphites is a whole other thing.

Welcome to the internet.

Leave your manners and etiquet at the door.

I second that..

Go blow up the white house or something with that cannon :P

If my enjoyment is to mine runite on a PVP world, would you say a pker should not kill me because it ruins my enjoyment? You would probably not. The pker has the right to kill me as it is part of the game. I have a right to set up my cannon wherever I want and I get major enjoyment at finishing a dag task under 20 minutes. There's no rule that prevents it and you can choose to freely abuse me verbally if you want, I will probably enjoy seeing your useless frustration venting. If my presence of their "turf" is slowing their progress, what a bummer. They chose to to train or complete their slayer task without that item on their side. It's not my problem and shouldn't be my concern. If they have a cannon there, I would hop for the simple reason that the cannon presence will slow my rates.

I have the same reasoning when mining, if someone comes and go for my ores, I either try to get him to hop or I choose to hop myself. As Bedman said, Dags are still okay for at least 2-3 more players even if a cannon is set up.

Heh the "cannon users are noobs" whine is the same as all the other made up rules by noobs who suck at life in general... every time I go to BH its the same old thing- I attack my target and get a stream of expletives and noobcalling, for doing what the game has allowed me to do. If they don't like it, then gtfo. Same thing when people whine about you coming and cutting "their" trees or "their" coal rock. They didn't buy them- Jagex made trees and mining multi- deal with it. Every time I'm cutting magics someone comes and cuts on the tree I am, despite there being 2 others there- it doesn't matter- all that I have to do is move 3 steps and do another tree. Or take 30 seconds and switch to another world.

People get too stressed out...

Jagex made the cannon.

I like the cannon and the wicked slayer xp I can get on certain tasks.

Thus, regardless of how many suckas call me a noob I'm going to use it when I please.
