Making FOG Range Friendly -28 Supporters-

Featured Replies

i agree 100%. Arrows should be given back

I could get used to using dragon arrows without any risk

oooh and thats another reason... im not p2p but in fog dont mages just use ancients to blast away everyone? trying to beat them meleeing would be impossible since it would just land higher atks from the mage.. and range, well range doesnt want to buy their best ammo cause it would just cost them alot of money.

Free dragon enchanted bolts would be a little to powerful for my tastes...

I'd just say that Jagex reduce the rate at which ranged ammo that breaks. Greatly. It won't be free ranging exp per se, but it'll be an incentive for those who want to range.

Your idea's a good one, but I don't support it.

Arguably, Mages can use even the highest level combat spells to their hearts content, all without using a single rune of their own.

Support, one idea though, what if FOG gave you x amount of the highest level arrows your bow can use. Example: I bring a regular bow to FOG, i can o/nly use up to iron arrows but if i had a maple bow then it would give me x amount of rune arrows.

Get it

Yep, I would support this if the highest arrow provided is Rune Arrows.

I think it should follow along the lines of "You walk out with what you walked in with"

this was the idea i had before in simpler form lol. but since you made it easier to understand i support your idea :D. one problem would be though with crossbows. how would the game determine what bolts you get on each kind of xbow you bring in. cause mems do bring enchanted since they cause more damage and effects. anyone ideas?

I've only ever broken one arrow on my entire time in RS. But I guess I support.

Although, at the same time, mages can run in and use all the ancient magicks they want, all without using a single rune of their own. Melee user's can run in with any weapon they want, of course, melee weapons can be used an infinite number of times. Each of the other 2 combat styles can use their most powerful equipment without exhausting any of their supplies, why not the same with range?

Full support, why didn't Jagex do this in the first place when they made fog!

Yup, sounds fair, if you can bash/slash/stab/burn/soak/cover in dirt/blow away/freeze people free of charge, why not also get to drive an arrow in to them from a distance free of charge as well? Support! ::'

what in the world are you talking about... melee and has free range of gs, whips, and everything else. mage can freeze, poison, weaken, etc all they want free of charge (up till they run out of runes). why not give rangers the same benifits. This really isnt asking for much. Cause even with unlimited range ammo of all kinds a meleer can still take down range. It would make fog an epic minigame cause you'd have to be a well rounded hybrid to get kills constantly. i think i already said i support but never thought of how awesome it would be till i saw armourdilos post

got my support whole-heartedly! It's the reason I stopped using range in FOG.

Woodcutting does not raise your combat level because most people do not play as yew trees.

Even though I don't fog much anymore due to the horrible lag I get there, I support.

If Jagex is really opening up the forums to F2P, I may post a thread about this there.
