Was fun, but I only have the levels for the crafting xp -.- 4 more agility levels...phail...and the woodcutting, well that isnt happenin any time soon lol.

It was a fun quest and event overall though, I do have to say though, the rewards were complete suck. Santa suit? Stupid polls...And ooo 5k and 500 xp...

Meh, who cares, it's basically free!

I asked A Meric A (hangs out in Forsakenmage's cc) to compile a list of the corresponding imp name/Prince Jack locations.

Once it's done, I'll have him give the list to one of the mods to include in the Christmas 2008 event guide once it comes out.

Should save a ton of people many headaches (for those who have yet to do the quest, of course).

just for the record and any list and i have confirmed this with a few other players that i hang with in forsakenmage's cc that if the name of your imp is in fact "norris" the location will always be that small spot south of the rimmington/portsarim altar.

If that is the case then the 'Dennis' Imp will always be inside the Lumberidge Cow Patch

EDIT: And Marcus would be at the Wizards Tower

Thanks Serephurus and to your avatar aswell ;)

Poor Dennis, shame that they're going away, as many other have said, the imps are better then the suit (not complaining though ;) )

Wow, those ancient people sure had odd methods of woodcutting (Dang, I have a dirty mind)

I see the obvious part, but I don't get what the three things sticking out of 'the machete' would be... :-s[/hide]

Something tells me now that there is a Santa set, the value of the hat should drop a bit, and the entire set would cost a lot more than the original price of the hat. At least that is what I predict, but the price of the hat will most likely rise.

They should have made a sack that would be rewarded during the quest, that is basically a cape but allows you to hold 4 more items. It would have really completed the look.

[hide=Full Reward From Quest + Event]500 xp lamp from quest

5k gp from Jack after waiting when finished quest.

2k crafting xp in 2nd room in ice caves (bring hammer and chisel)

10k agility xp in 4th cave by vines with 55 agility

20k WC xp with 80 wc in 5th room on ledge just after crossing 2 ice blocks (bring axe)

santa suit from event

ice necklace - summons imp after event (I think this is kept after event because destroying it gives a message

that you receive another from Diango.)[/hide]

well, first off yes the amulet is retrieveable after the event, but the imp will be gone, and no, you won't be able to summon him back.

secondly, the crafting experience bonus has a level 30 requirement :P, just though I'd point that out...

Haha, try lighting a fire while frozen...

That's what ice barrage should look like

lol, the trick emote looks like barraging just with bats, and the freeze is somehow like you're being barraged, rofl.

Excet that the set is from the event, so it's untradable.

Hail to The Great Big Penguin in the sky. And Guthix, of course.

Nice rewards but this is exactly the reason I still have 33 quests to do before While Guthix Sleeps. Apparently this quest is like the easiest out there but it took me like 2 hours to do. -.- -.- -.-

Attempt1 - I got to the ice maze with the first experience reward but couldn't figure out how to get to the next room and thought I messed up somehow so I teleported out. I then found out you can move diagonally.

Attempt2 - I got to the room with the Agility experience reward and got that but then realized the room with the Crafting experience reward from the previous room needs a Chisel to be broken. So I teleported out again to get a Chisel.

Attempt3 - I ended up getting to the part where you squeeze through the crevice but didn't notice the Ice Blocks somehow so I just took the normal route. After the Yeti yelled me out of his chamber I thought I needed Earmuffs so I teleported out and got some.

Attempt4 - Later on in a clan chat people told me about the ice blocks and I managed to get across the gaps, but there were roots blocking the next experience reward. I teleported out to get an axe.

Attempt5 - I got the Woodcutting experience reward and finally beat the quest.

This is why I can't stand quests...

I 'lol-ed' at the part where you said something about getting the earmuffs :XD: . Frankly, speaking that was quite a logical thing to do though but yeah, scuttling back and forth getting the tools you need is troublesome.

well, about the whole set, except for the hat none of it is trade able -.- .

and for the sack, I guess the bone sack from rag bones man wish list looks like a toy sack :P, and I already requested someone here showing a picture of himself with white beard, full santa (including hat), and a bone sack. (would be awesome if anyone did...)
