The event guide (go to the Quest icon) says that the imps will stay around until the Christmas update is over. However, the Santa costume and ice amulet are permanent rewards. December 16, 200817 yr Reward was okay... However I don't blame Jagex for that. I do like the ice amulet though. I did not enjoy traipsing about RuneScape having to ask the snow imp if it was hotter or colder... Took me about an hour to find Jack. :evil: I don't like inane pointless things... I like games or things where you make stuff and then you get different amounts of rewards based on how much you did (like in 2005; four levels of rewards, and two different types; scarves and hats. needless to say I got all eight...) December 16, 200817 yr Ok well for the quest ending I went along with the imp prank and didn't tell explorer jack. Is there any difference in the end/rewards if I tell him the difference? (I plan to do the opposite on my pure anyways =\) the trick is to balance all of these methods to get 99 and either play real life or train another skill while farming. 635th to 99 Farming 12/16/07

In standard fighting gear and those, they look almost exactly like them. I didn't like the rewards for this quest. Although that's dependent on whether or not you can keep the imp after the event's over. If you can, then I love it. Mine's Marvin. December 17, 200817 yr So, the halloween quest rewards us with a bunch of mage exp, a cool broom with a teleport, and a purple cat and this rewards us with... exp? I seriously lol'd at the 500 exp lamp. Especially when it showed that reward next to the pile of dung. Fitting, don't you think? I'm getting a feeling vaguely similar to what I felt after doing "A Soul's Bane"... Santa suit is meh, and I'm really ticked that they're not letting us keep the imp. That would have been the difference between a great reward and something that never leaves the toy box after the event.
